In principle he’s right. But as most decorators know, most corners are never plumb in a real world setting. You would either cut and splice or overlap around the corner.

He got lucky folding around the corner. Most of the time it’ll crease so he was lucky enough. Normal splice and carry on should apply if it creases. Funny video though lol

wrong way to paper. you should leave a 50mm strip around corner of fireplace and over lap slighty the pattern with the cut edge. then continue on. reason beingthe angle was not straight. hence why he messed around cutting.
