Nice job, Mason. When I was your age, cutting hay was done with our 9 foot IHC sickle mower and Farmall H. Once cut, we would rake the hay into a windrow, let it cure and bale it into small squares for storage in our hay mow. Your discbine saves many steps and does a remarkable job. I wish you well after graduating from H S. I would urge you to continue your education at your local community college. You are very fortunate to come from such successful farming family!

We always opened fields with the tractor on the outside. That way, crop that was downed by the tires was likely poorer quality due to adjacent brush, woods, fence line, whatever.

Hay making is one of my favorite types of content farmers do, I am not sure what it is but I love. Maybe Mason will like it more when he gets older, I would have hated it at his age, and though I don't live on a farm, I do quite enjoy working on my lawn, any more...which is as close as I can get to making hay. :)

I don't see anyone on here with their music while working suggestions?! I like uptempo while working and used to run chick truck for a hatchery, the clock starts ticking after they hatch, get sexed and vaccinated to get them where they're going so driving through the night happened alot trying to stay alert and awake, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies- Always good, Punk Rock covers of all generes. Less Than Jake, Suburban Legands, Mustard Plug, Mighty Mighty BossTones, Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats early stuff always did the trick for me too. Good luck finding the pin!
