That sounds like a hot cut! Plus To many relief cuts you’re adding way more work than should be

I think you've done that once or twice before, nice job

I'm just wondering if the quality of adhesion of the inter layer with the glass has not affected with this method of applying heat with a torch on the laminated glass?

I'm thinking about trying to cut flat automotive glass. Couldn't I just lay the old glass down and make an outline with it and cut it?

Do you have a vid on how to smooth the sharp edge out? I do auto glass too.

I don't have a video, it's 8 in round, 100 grit sand paper on a drill. We get it from a local hobby & gem store. It's for polishing rocks.

Can you do a video of cutting an inside corner on laminated glass?
@randomcarvids10523 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? Like an inverted cut?
@Darkmaster_693 жыл бұрын
@@randomcarvids1052 yes. The curve u cut Ive call it an out side curve. I'd like to see an inside curve. The risk with those is that when you run the cut it will go into the glass, because the radius of the curve goes into the glass rather than away from it. Cat 930 grader factory door glass has an inside curve for the door handle and a smaller inside curve for the wiper. If your able to cut that it would be cool

Ok. We call it inverted. I'll try to make on. But yes. Very risky cut, depending on the size of the glass. But good profit.

You need to make relief cuts. You don't want to ruin your scriber, so have a second scriber, for the relief cuts
