This is basically what I have done when I have trimmed wigs. I practice on Hairdo's Wave Cut first (poor thing) and then work on the important pieces, selectively -- mostly I trimmed JR's Heidi and it came out very well, thank god. Sharp scissors, the corkhead and T-pins, sharp thinning sheers, clips, the tools are important. That said, I think I will pick up your embroidery scissors as I haven't gotten new ones in a while. Thanks for this. (bangs are harder)

Both Willow and Vamp can be trimmed. You just put it up leaving the longest weft out and just trim that weft.
