Bean Shanine On full body babies you can do as a whole piece with the head on, or you can Fuse the head on afterwards, either way is fine

As you say, again with ball jointed you just pop the head on but I’ve never done a ball jointed

This was a great video because I have two partials that have closed mouths and would love them to be open. One is the Gus by Tina Kewy but produced by Dana Henderson proto 1 he has a magnet in his silicone though that is the only thing I'm worried about because I don't know how big the magnet is in his mouth to cut it out. Again great video and such a pretty doll :)

youngin rose I’ve never actually done a sculpted inside of mouth but I think you have to either do it when you sculpt the baby and have the mouth slightly open, or sculpt the inside of the mouth separately and add it once poured but having never done it I’m not altogether sure.

I don't think I would be able to do that although you did make it quite easy to do it seemed, I have arthritis in my hands now for the past 20 yrs it stayed away from them, I would like to know do you sell the babies and how much, I'd like to have a set of twins boy&girl eyes open, I have a issue with dolls and close eyes every since a friend babies pass away. I'd think a set in 14" as size, I was going to try them myself but I'd probably ruin them!

question for you! i see this doll had a slight separation of the lips to begin with, i have also cut some silicone dolls mouths successfully with lips like this one... have you ever done this or recommend technique for cutting a mouth for a silicone doll where the lips are more closed without the little separation in the center?

1984Sarahanne Hi, if there is less of a dip you can still cut them out open because it will close to the natural original line - you only can tell the mouth is cut by parting the lips.

shannon sauder bake on very low temp - I usually bake on lower tjan it advises on the packet, and for longer so for a full baby maybe 100 degrees for 45 mins or an hour, support all the areas like limbs well so prevent cracking. And allow to cool completely before moving afterwards

Debbie Taulbee Don’t panic, get hold of a product called SilPoxy - can’t advise you where to get this as I don’t know what country you live but even amazon sell it in some places, just google it. It is a clear gel in a tube and can be used like a glue and is one of the few things that will stick silicone, it is specially made for silicone. Apply to the inside edge of the test and leave To cure, maybe a tiny bit smoother over The top of the year but not too much especially if the baby is finished. It will leave a slightly shiny surface so if the baby Is already matted you don’t want that so try and have as little as possible showing on the front. Or you can matt it afterwards.

Oh my, it looked really like surgery, at some point I thought how brave you are to do this, I nearly could not watch it :) It is so great, because I sometimes saw sweet heads, but thought I would prefr them open because of a paci or a bottle. Did you ever think about letting a piece in after cutting it loose, so it could be the tongue? I do not know if there is enough space for it, but it would be great I think.
