We've been using the Juliet during the lives and Matt is just loving it so far! He still holds the Graphtec as top dog, but the Juliet, he's surprisingly impressed with. We have them, and the Romeo on site now! -TRW Crystal

i have the cameo 4, but everytime i try to size my stones to ss6 then i have a problem get the stones too look decent with the word I am using. It is so stressful trying to learn this in the silohuette do you know how to do the rhinestones in the cricut

The thing about rhinestone text or designs is that you need to have the template holes fit the stones you are using. So, you need to have the font or design be the size it was originally designed to be. So often, people mistakenly think they can shrink or stretch a rhinestone design the way a vinyl design can be resized. We have several rhinestone fonts on our website and you can sort them by height when using ss10 rhinestones. Using ss06 will shrink a rhinestone word or design by about 24%. We have videos on how to size rhinestone fonts in Cricut's Design Space, but that software is quite a bit more limited than Silhouette Studios. Also, you would need to cut your designs with a Cricut if you use Design Space, as they will not allow you to export your own work from Design Space. I'd suggest checking our site for a smaller rhinestone font for your project. We use .1" as the diameter for the template holes for ss06 rhinestones. Hope this helps! -TRW Pilar

Do you recommend cutting the Magic flock on the sticky part of the mat or can you cut the magic flock on the back side of the matt

We always pull it from the backing and place it sticky side down, on top of the sticky side of the mat. I have silhouette connect, when I purchased your 1st version of Design wizard! 😊 I missed an update and could never upgrade after that unfortunately. I still have my magic flock, tons of rhinestones and rhinestuds, just have to learn how to design in silhouette. 😬

I'm going to guess familiarity with the machines. Cricut is all over the place at crafting stores. Cameo is also there at Michaels. Also, with these two cutters, you don't need to convert the svg file. BUT...you definitely can cut the templates with the Brother Scan n Cut. How about trying this hack: Get those cutting boards/mats from the Dollar Store...you get 2 in the pack. Stick your templates permanently to those..that way, you don't need to lift them. Just put the entire cutting mat on your work surface and brush the stones in. -TRW Pilar

Sounds like your mat is too sticky. You can try touching the mat to your TShirt before applying the Magic Flock template material to it, to help lighten up some of it's grip power. -TRW Pilar

Thanks girls! I love Matt and of course ALL of you guys for everything you do, your hard work and dedication, help, emails etc. And Matt is THE BEST, a selfless ROCKSTAR even when his back is out of commission and he's obviously not 💯 he's still out here teaching us when he should be taking it easy but, it's also obvious he is 💯 stubborn lol. So, please from all of us make sure he takes care of himself and force him to relax if he needs it. I know what that's like, I have Lupus and MS. I definitely have hard days sometimes weeks and I push myself to hard to keep going, work 20+ hours a day, im a horrible sleeper but, then I'm affected even longer rather than taking a day to recoup. What can I say Italians are stubborn! Just please pass on this message to him for me. Since finding him and @Therhinestoneworld and becoming part of your #TRWCrew has helped me in so many ways besides the trainings, all star membership- even my confidence not only in my work but myself has changed so much. You want to cut the template holes a bit bigger than the rhinestones so they have room to fall in and get bumped out if they fall in upside down. -TRW Pilar
