I tried to do the "Mute Song Only" option that's apparently still in Beta, but I have no idea good it is. It may just sound like garbage. Still, should only affect a small part of the video. Having the Xenoblade characters all be alts 100% is a misrepresentation of those characters because they do not fight the same at all compared to the Koopalings. Especially since not all Xenoblade protagonist fight using Monado arts like Shulk. Because they don't have them. There's also the fact that Pyra and Mythra are stupidly popular. More popular than Shulk. Just having Shulk as the sole Xenoblade rep wouldn't really represent the entire series. And I don't think having only a few entires automatically means that they're fine with just one rep.

I do think that keeping Falco and Wolf would be a good idea since even though Star fox is getting less and less popular there still is still potential for the series and we should still give them a chance. With the switch sports code rumour and the new Star Fox trademark I'd say its pretty likely. :)

If we were to have 3 Star Fox characters, I'd prefer having Fox, Wolf, and Krystal. I think Falco is neat. But, in the grand scheme of things, we don't need 3 characters that play the same, and Wolf has the benefit of having more villains

Hey rister, I just wanted to give an update. I just finished up an amatuer tournemant that hbox is streaming. I finished 33rd, and I got 2 dq benefits, and my mentality was not good in my winners match because I was simply putting pressure on MYSELF to actually not panic and play well, and as a result, I lost, but after my losers set, which I lost, I felt like ive improved when It comes to not mashing. Sure, I have some habits, like the down b and not just approaching with fairs, but overall, I feel like ive improved. Even in my winners set, I didnt even do that bad, and I couldve taken a set.

I'd keep Ike. He's still relevant in the Fire Emblem community and is still its most popular character. Lucario and Greninja I'd keep too because they are popular in the modern day and are amongst the most iconic Pokemon in the franchise on par with Pikachu and Charizard. One more, I'd keep Min Min too, but completely change her fighting style. There's a mod that was uploaded by either Poppt1, King of Skill, or Little Z (maybe someone else I'm missing) but the video is gone, probably Nintendo took it down, but Min Min had none of her Arms gimmick moves, even her nair was replaced. Possibly, she have her Arms gimmick made *EXCLUSIVELY* for her B Buttons and the A button could change to be different attacks except for Smash attacks.

Sonic is a must stay purely based of legacy alone and even though you could argue he super lame sonic imo is a character that could easily be reworked into a super hype character, literally just base his move set in the games where he actually throws hands( sonic the fighters, sonic battle, and frontiers)

This is a list alright. One that I feel is writtled with many contradictions upon itself, and has made me have widen my eyes at enough times to respond to. Firstly... saying that Villager, the Avatar that is in EVERY Animal Crossing Game is less iconic than Isabelle, who has been in only the two most recent ones, already gave me whiplash. By that logic, Robin or Byleth shouldn't be in cause they're also avatars who only appear in ONE game. But no; keep those two and remove villager. Secondly, the idea that most of these characters should have gotten the "Koopling" treatment is one of the takes I disagree with the most. Like, saying that Ike could just be a costume for Marth or Rex/Pyra/Mythra being a shulk costume does not sense at all. They are not carbon copies. Marth One-Hand Wielding Ragnell like a rapier would feel like an insult. Lastly, saying that Some characters like Sheik are more important to keep over Falco and Steve is verry biased. Sheik's moveset literally is 'Ninja Moves' the character with like One Vague Zelda-related Attack that was cobbled to use the switch mechanic. I don't see that being kept in more than someone with a 'reasonable concept to go off of platform fighters' and 'Air Fox that least has things that Are references to base game.' I usually don't get heated by these discussions, but it seems that this one struck a lot more of a nerve that I initially thought it would.

The alternate skins thing with the fire emblem and xenoblade cast is one of the worst takes that i've ever heard. I don't know if he actually has played with them to say such a stupid thing, that and cutting ike because 'no one asked for him' when he is one of the most popular fire emblem characters. Also, cutting steve because he doesn’t fit when gnw is there just doesn't make any sense

Riddles would probably be hurt the most by this, fighting game characters are way different from regular characters and removing the 2 best characters he uses is detremental for him, definitely going to affect him the most. If Terry and Kazuya were removed, he’d either play Ryu or Snake

Right, I have some opinions: I will figjt you to the death over ike and roy, I know they are not relevant anymore but they are just better characters in their games than corrin and byleth. I'd also argue that at this point lucario is almost more well known than mewtwo, and is higher on popularity polls (of which greninja is always very high, but could be replaced with meowscarada). Xenoblade needs more than 1 rep, in recent years its been a massive series and will continue to be. Ridley should go.....he's not relevant, and falco needs to stay. The rest is fine.

It would be so weird for them to not be in future Smash games. Also, I get to keep two of my mains from WiiU/Ult (Jiggs & Falcon, sad for Incin), so that’s a plus lol.

Considering that a lot of fans wanted the Miis in smash bros, cutting them off would be not be the best choice, the same could be said for Villager they may be avatars but they're in EVERY animal crossing game, I understand Isabelle but you don't see her much. So I'd keep the Mii fighters and Villagers.

You should do a version of this where you get to rework the characters. If we accounted for reworks I think Steve and hero have to stay. Both there games are too big. A Steve rework could be fixing frame data and power of moves. Also don’t let him put blocks in the air he must build up his blocks like how it works in Minecraft. A simple fix for hero would be put a symbol for each move on the menu so no matter the language you can just look for the symbols. That should fix the language problem.

The only Nintendo essentials are: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Fox, Pikachu, Kirby, Yoshi, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Zelda, Ganondorf, Marth, Meta Knight, Wario, Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Olimar, Charizard, Villager or Isabelle, Shulk, and Inkling. Anyone else isn’t necessary, but nice to have. I also think these fan rosters keep way too many 3rd party characters. Keep in mind that this is a Nintendo All Star game first. But if we want some 3rd parties, it’s gotta be some combination of Sonic, Pac Man, Ryu, or Steve. Absolutely no way we can keep Joker - he basically has 0 ties to Nintendo in the first place.

Idk if you're living under a rock but saying Kazuya is "not necessarily relevant enough" is insane when Tekken 8 literally just came out and is selling faster than both SF6 and MK1. Also keeping Sheik and Bayonetta over Kazuya makes zero sense when Kazuya is representative of one of the MOST important fighting games ever whereas Sheik hasn't been relevant in forever while Bayonetta's future is extremely shaky at this point now with Kamiya gone

Where i disagree with you is cutting Kazuya for not being as iconic even thought i would argue Kazuya and Tekken is more iconic than banjo kazooie so i would have Kazuya over Banjo. Robin is actually insanely popular with the Fire Emblem community, more popular than even some Lords and the other Avatars. Smash just did a real horrible job implementing the moveset. I played Awakening, Warriors, and Codename STEAM. Not a single fight animation belongs to Robin, or any mage for that matter. It was like they made it all up like Lucario's. He can benefit from a rework that references their talents more.

I'd keep Falco, but not Roy, only because he's still way too similar to Marth and his popularity outside of Smash has been waning since more people have gotten into the series. If GBA had to be represented, I think Hector or Ephraim would be better. Hector is as well loved as Marth and Chrom these days and he's an Armored Axe user and Ephraim is a powerful Lance user who is also the main protagonist in his game and GBA games has a ton of bombastic animations for them to use.

I personally enjoy that you cut Villager out for Isabelle because it makes so much sense. She is just too iconic and that put a smiles on my face. Although, I would remove Sheik and add Terry back in because Sheik was only in 2 games and without Terry, we don't have Smash at all. The entirety of the list is perfect just replace Sheik for Terry. I think having Steve is fine but I think he needs to be gutted down like Bayonetta after Smash 4. Last edit, I forgot to mention that taking out Hero is just a crime. I say let him stay but gut away the language barrier by adding universal symbols, let him keep his Japanese voice like Cloud so there's personality to their characters, and simply gut away any unnecessary RNG shenanigans. Falco is a bit deserving to stay but Wolf is gone. Replace Simon with Richter because while Simon is the OG belmont and important to the Castlevania Franchise but he isn't super iconic in terms of Richter and Alucard since Symphony of the Night. So, I would say remove Sheik and Simon and add back Terry, Richter, Falco, Hero, and Steve. Besides that, nuke the others to ashes for all I care.

I wouldn't remove Sheik. Despite only appearing in two games, Sheik is still one of the most popular characters in Zelda, Smash Bros fans still love her moveset, Sheik has had many references across other Zelda games in either cameos or equipment, and her appearance and plot twist is still celebrated as one of the greatest moments in video game history. I'm not a fan, but Sheik has proven to belong in the roster and Sheik was supposed to get her own video game spin-off series that ended up getting cancelled mid-development.

I would argue that Smash bros is both a museum of the Video Game and a billboard. And I would argue that Minecraft was at the forefront of a new age of video game were Indies devs were given the environment and the tools to thrive, bringing the a new life to the industry. Finally, I would argue that Rival of Aether's Kragg create platforms and that's fine. So Steve is fine, but it needs big rework to his resource system and damage output. Other opinions, If I had to make a 43 characters roster in 2 to 5 years from now, with some fresh blood: - Cut mewtwo and PT, put the last pokemon game starters and put the next game humanoide-looking legendary. - Cut Bayonetta and add Dante (as it should have always been) but since one is Nintendo's and the other Sony's, it would never happened. - Cut Byleth and put the Hunter from monster hunter (as it should have always been too), but same IP Conflict - Cut Simon and put Alucard, Simon is a bland character that appears in a couple of games while Alucard is present throught most of Castlevania franchise. - Banjo is not a character I would weep over, maybe it's a USA thing, I don't know. I didn't bring much to the video game genre. Let's put Doom guy, from Doom. The game that spawned a whole genre of video, popularised modding and machinima... Yeah and put Smash bros rated M :/... Well Bayonetta is rated M too, so it should be fine right ...? ALRIGHT! For the sake of keeping Smash bros rated E and without obvious IP conflicts, let's use another video game keystone: Get Thrall from Warcraft III, now owned by Microsoft :). While not a genre defining game, W3 was the fertile ground for so many mods that later became games on their own. - Kingdom hearts is a franchise based on nostalgia. The games aren't that good. They are irrelevant to the industry. People who wanted Sora got him, they can let it go now (ah ah, like Frozen). Let's find some Japanese franchise that changed the gaming world... Darksouls would be the obvious choice, it shaped anew the action/exploration genre, it brought Metroidvania to 3D and did it well. But the Darksouls main character (the Hollow) would be kind of similar to Byleth/Hunter with a wide arsenal of weapons. So maybe a recuring character like Havel or the Onion knight. And they are Sword heavies with armor, on the crossroad between K.rool, Dedede and Ganon. - Shulk and Joker could be replace by any nintendo franchise, yeah Shulk art's are unique, but you can always free some space to make something else unique. They are the free billboard slots for future games. - Kid icarus was in there because it's a Sakurai game, you can cut Pit. So this will be my 100% assumed biased choice: Hornet from the upcoming Silk song 🤡🤡🤡 - footnote : maybe with Princess Peach showtime, the pink lady would be totally different. My choices are based in something more than nostalgia googles: what did the franchise brought to the table.

Taunt and joke aside, many of those characters were on top of the list in the character poll Sakurai did in smash4. They were never put in because of ESRB or because negociations failed (it is theorised Byleth was the MH's Hunter backup plan)

Ten years ago, when Sakurai made the character poll to add to smash, Sora was the most requested character. At the time, Kingdom hearts 2 was "only" eight year old and Square was releasing spin offs regularly. Since then they did mostly remakes, and the third games was... something. Yeah, Sora wouldn't be on the top of the list anymore today.

Rosalina has been super irrelevant, she is basically a side character in all media she shows up in vs Sora a, character that is one of the most requested characters for smash of all time and is the main character of one of the biggest video game franchises
