My dad once told me a story about his old college. Apparently it was a tradition for students on their last day to pull a prank. One year, someone sprayed fertiliser in the shape of a dong on the grass outside the college. Even when cut, the fertiliser limited the types of grass that grew, causing a colour change, and even affected the growth for many years. When viewed from above, on Google maps/other satellite images, the college had a dong in its field.

One of my first jobs had me out on a 54" front deck zero turn Toro mower. The same pedal controlled both forward and backward depending on whether you pushed on the top or bottom. I hadn't learned to drive yet. It was actually way more intuitive than a separate gas and brake pedal.

Interesting Note: "Strimmers" here in the Midwest US are more often referred to as "weed-whackers". Though, now that I think about it, every time I've ever used one I've only ever been "whacking" the grass along the edges of flowerbeds or sidewalks. Never actually whacked any weeds with it, at least not intentionally. It's also does a serious number on the bottom 2-3 inches of our wood fence over time. I've been tempted to invest in an edger (which is like a strimmer, except the cable spins vertically, perpendicular to the ground), but the fence is so old and the bottoms so mangled it's scarcely worth investing in until the planks have been replaced.

EE is probably the most math, but also can be very well payed. If your in the US the Meritime academy in Vallejo California is REALLY good for mechanical, especially if you like the sea. From what I heard while I was in university, civil would probably be the least brain melting math wise, but also the least interesting (unless you like water treatment, road design, or drainage design). Best class I ever took was one that was called "intro to engineering" that taught me what different fields there were, and gave an overview of each. I would recommend it if you can take a similar course.
@BiblicallyAccurateToaster3 жыл бұрын
In terms of brain goop inducing I think it'd really depend on how much you'd enjoy the work involved & the types of jobs you'd be working on in each specialty. I'd highly recommend doing a lot of research & most importantly speaking directly to those who work in these fields. Get it straight from them. If there aren't professionals in these fields near where you live then reach out on forums or something like reddit
