I was most interested in Tom's order of liking of the Mask games. It is interesting he changed his view. I would like to try them all some day, including Tikal 2, but for now Tikal is the king of all games at my #1 of my top 100.

I normally don't complain about these things, but the mic noise was really dustracting on the gameplay explanation. Hopefully it was something easily fixed or prevented in future videos! EDIT: It is throughout the video, not sure if it is mic placement or something else.

Why is it easier for Incans to come from the forest than the mountains? It should be the exact opposite... Pachacuti quickly conquered the Andes and his brother the northern coastal regions but Tupa inca Yupanqui struggled to make any headway into the Amazon and had to abandon the whole thing. I wonder how the game would work reversing the two...

Game looks great, but I don't see wanting to own this one and Mexica which I already have and think it looks even prettier (although we have repainted all the meeples and resin bits in there). I like the elevation thing in this, but even though the tiles are nice and thick, they are not nearly thick enough for me to make the game look like it has height. For me I would need those tiles to all be 2 or 3x that thickness which would make the game cost a billion dollars of course, lol.

Once again supermeeple did a fantastic job for this reissue, the game is too much of a braineater for me, my favourite of the trilogy is still Tikal wich looks even better !

Tikal is currently my #1 game in my top 100. But I have not played any of the other mask games, nor Tikal 2. This game looks intriguing, but I do not want a game that promotes long turns either.

I like this game, but I hate, hate, hate the festival cards. Ugh. Randomness and luck in an abstract.
