Made these tonight. They were GREAT. Only thing I changed, a little, was add some Dijon mustard to your recipe to get a little more twangy taste in the honey mustard. Next time I will add a little more salt and pepper to the four for the chicken though. But, thanks so much, VERY tender chicken. Used vegetable oil, since that was what I had on hand. Sure appreciate you.

Hi, Tammy! Watched your how to make pan fried potatoes from 2 years ago and you spoke about the knives you’re using from your nephew. Question: how do you keep your knives sharp? Where can we get knives sharpened if we can’t do it ourselves? My husband’s brother lives in Dallas, GA and they’d know where to take me if you’ve got a reliable place that wouldn’t ruin the knife blades. By-the-way, I used to teach new teachers and you are an EXCELLENT teacher! You’re intuitive, easy to understand, and a joy to watch. Thank you for being you and I’ll keep praying for you.🙏🏻

Hey Tammy!! I loveee watching your cooking videos.. I learn so much! I made these this past Sunday and they really are delicious!! Everyone loves then!! The only issue I had with mine was the batter wanted to come off after frying them like it wasn’t staying on the chicken (especially when dipped in sauce) do you have this happen sometimes? What could cause this? Also they honey mustard IS amazing!!! Must make it!!
@CollardValleyCooks4 жыл бұрын
The batter could come off if you washed the chicken and it was wet or if the oil was not hot enough. Glad you like it. Also let it sit about 10 minutes after you flour it and that helps too.

I fried the chicken tenders for dinner tonight. Very good. But, my coating came off in the frying pan. I used AP flour instead of self rising flour. Why do you use self rising ? I’m curios. I hate to fry food but they turned out pretty good ! Thanks for the video !
@CollardValleyCooks4 жыл бұрын
If you washed the chicken and it was wet it would cause that, or if you did not let the oil get hot enough it would cause it. Letting it sit about 10 minutes after you bread it helps prevent it too.
