I just made your chicken fingers, fried potatoes, and dippin sauce for my very picky sons! I moved away from my Louisiana home when I got married in my 20s (long time ago!) No one taught me how to cook. I always try to make delicious food for my boys but they are hardly ever impressed. But when I put the fried chicken, potatoes and tht awesome sauce on the table, my youngest son exclaimed, “Mom, this is the best meal you’ve ever made in your life!” Everyone agreed! I cried. Thank you for teaching me how to cook!

Seems like the past year, every time we eat out I think to myself I can cook better than that. I think it might be an old people thing. Also, we have a new chicken place about 10 mile away and all they serve are french fries and chicken fingers. Do you know they want a dollar for one finger. We only go there a couple times a year. Merry Christmas Tammy and Chris. Thank you for your cooking channel.

A small point but when I use a spoon to measure out honey I spray it with cooking oil spray first and then the honey slides out easily without much sticking to the spoon.

Chick-fil-A are Franchised. They often do things differently depending on the owner. One of the stores here still serve 4 large pieces. This store has 3 lanes for drive through. All computer orders and have a multitude of things for the Christmas season including a live manager. Different Churches sing carols at night . I don’t eat fried foods of any kind. Tonight I would have had to break doctors orders for your chicken fingers and that honey mustard sauce ummmm good ! Be Blessed.

Hi again Tammy! I was surprised that you didn't make your own 'in a pinch buttermilk', it works perfectly fine!(approx 1 1/2 cups milk, 2 tsp vinegar or lemon juice ) and you are right, bone in isn't the same somehow, so I remove them and, voila! perfect! thank you for another yummy recipe!

Ms. Tammy, here’s a trick for you. To test if your oil is hot enough for frying put a wooden spoon or wooden chopstick (must be wooden) in the oil and if there are bubbles forming around the wooden spoon, then you oil is hot enough to start frying. I learned this from another cooking channel. It beats having to stick food I. Your pain too soon. Try it, see if it works for you. I do it every time I fry. Chicken tenders look delicious, so does the dipping sauce. ❤️❤️

I agree. I went to Chic-fil-a last month and paid 9.79!!! for a 12 piece. Like you I cook chicken all the time and I get a boat load even with only 2 breasts. But I love their "Polynesian sauce." How long does that honey mustard last in the fridge? I know my kiddo would love to have it on hand...And making it yourself would be so much cheaper than buying the premade stuff!! I'm really looking at one of those air fryers too...until recently I was able to say 'nobody really needs one of those things!" but the more I see of them the more I'm leaning on 'well, I can see how that could come in handy" lol...I'll probably be talked into wanting one myself by Mother's Day..lol...
