You can tell from her interviews Maxxine loves every second of being there, and she seems super committed. Becky giving her a hype talk for (what may be) one of her last matches in the company was a big deal too. Shout out to Chad for being an incredible teacher

You can tell she’s dedicated to learning and improving, and that alone is enough for me to get behind her. She’s shown so much improvement already and I can’t wait to see how she’s doing a few years from now, she has some real potential to blow up with the experience behind her.

Maxxine Dupri is basically experiencing how the divas back in 1998-2010 was experiencing. Kelly Kelly, Maryse, Layla, Kristal Marshall, Ashley Massaro, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler, Dawn Marie, Candice Michelle, Eve Torres, Lena Yada, and Terri Runnels. All these women had to learn on the road and was criticized and made to feel like they was bad because they didn't know how to "wrestle" but they was not given the chance, they had to begged to learn to be better. All the women was made to catfight, slap, and always had either a ddt, snap suplex, scoop slam, or the sitout facebuster as a finisher.

The thing with Maxxine is that she is a diva and I say this not only on her looks but on every ascpect of her career, I mean she was thrown out in the main roster very undercoked and is learning on the go just like the divas back in the day and it is that factor of seeing that improvement and how they evolved that made many fans connect with them and thats the case for Maxxine, we as an audience can see her improvements clearly and a real passion and respect that she has in trying to learn and improve more each time she goes in the ring. She is todays version of a mix of Kelly Kelly, Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson all into one person.

It's crazy to see the parallel between Gable's arc and Kurt Angle's arc. From American Alpha where they tried to make Jason Jordan "Kurt's son" and you'd think Chad would be forgotten, but then Chad grew to the point that he's shining light on lesser known wrestlers much in the way Kurt lifted guys in TNA

It all just seems so meaningless cuz it doesnt actually do anything. They do a 408098 degree flip off a ladder ricochet off the announce table into a powerbomb 360 through a table and the person hops back up and they move in to the next flashy move. Its ridiculous.

I sincerely think that’s more Ronda Rousey. I didn’t see her run in WWE, but her pedigree is she’s a world champion MMA fighter with an Olympic Bronze, World Championship Silver, and Pan American Gold in Judo. Ronda also has the hard nosed attitude. Maxxine Dupri is an underdog who’s learning what to do. In due time and gained confidence, if she gains a serious voice and attitude, where she can chop it up well on the mic, I think a female version of her in-universe “brother” “Max Dupri,” now known as L.A. Knight (YEAH!!!), might be possible. He’s one of today’s people’s champions. I can’t see her seriously as a bad girl, but give her some confidence and attitude, she’ll be fun! Watching her nearly come to blows with Chad was great! I’m hoping she gets a shot at Ivy Nile and tears her up. Maxxine is fun!

As cool as that would be, I doubt that’ll happen. What makes guys like Gable and Angle so good is their elite level amateur wrestling background that they can fall back on during WWE matches. Maxxine doesn’t have that, as her background is dancing and being a cheerleader for the LA Rams. While those can help, she is really not slated to be the next Angle or Gable. SHES going to have to find her own style.

She's got the look. She's already going to be way ahead of everyone with minimal work. That's just how the business works. A couples months in the "performance center" is nothing compared to the years of grinding it out night after night in house shows for no pay like people used to do when wrestling was actually good.

I think part of that’s real, part of it being her character. With “Alpha Academy” breaking away from Chad Gable, I think we may see a more pissed off and confidence Maxxine character incoming. When it looked like Maxxine vs. Chad before The Wyatt Sicks dropped in, I think that could be a preview! I think her sweet and awkward side is working to build her as an underdog before she shows she’s got more to her, especially when her team needs her to step up! It’s gonna be fun, I feel it!

It's still amazing to me how vince thought it would make sense for Jason Jordan to be named as Kurt's BIOLOGICAL son, rather than Chad Gable. Was it a complete rib on Chad or something? Chad is a huge star in his own right and deserves all the recognition he gets, but there's still a part of me that really believes WWE could have pulled some majorly good storyline had they just went with the common sense method of Chad is Kurt's son. It's believable to casuals since they look alike, sound alike, wrestle similarly, pretty much have the same gimmick. Imagine casual viewers who don't understand wrestling being like... wait that white kid isn't Angles son, it's the African American guy???

@bitetheasp No kidding. That's the problem. We need more realism in this art of wrestling. The writers and creative are trying to flip the switch and throw shit at the wall to see if it sticks and half the time it falls right off and they're back to square one. Gable is lucky in the sense he is raw talent and a great worker with charisma or he would have been cut a long time ago with the likes of ziggler, Ali, Benjamin, Elias, boogs etc. Those guys are all no slouched either though

She talked to CVV, and I believe she said she got injured shortly into her NXT career. She'd recently been hired, and was going through the training process there. But she got injured, and when she recovered, they pulled her to Smackdown to work with the Maximum Male Models. She had very little tv time up to that point; she might have said she hadn't even been on tv yet, but I don't remember fully. I think she said she'd had five matches total before the call-up to Smackdown
