One of the funniest non-sells I've ever seen was at a house match between JBL and Rey Mysterio; JBL gave Mysterio a beating the whole match but then towards the end of the match Mysterio got his hulk-up and knocked JBL down to his knees near the ropes. Mysterio 619ed JBL in the face but JBL just shrugged it off standing up but had a look on his face like Mysterio just insulted him and hurt his feelings. He rubbed his jaw and with a very winy butt-hurt sounding voice accused Mysterio "You, you, you little Mexican jumping bean!" And then gave him a closeline from hell to end the match LOL Mysterio must have flipped head over heals at least 3 times in the air, he probably over-sold it LOL but it was awesome.

JBL and Tripl H will always have a special place in my heart, because when I started watching wrestling in early 2005 they were the top heels at the time

He was one of my biggest favorites. I always loved the guys that could just make the crowd hate their guts and really think they're a menace. Rick Rude, Triple H, Jbl, hell even Dom recently.

Best clothesline hands down 💪🏼

JBL had 1 of the best "Lariats" or clotheslines in wrestling history. He dug deep for the power for tht clothesline, real deep, like he dug all the way down to Hell

The very 1st time John Bradshaw Layfield came out, he immediately over. He cut the perfect promo and made it feel like he was dropping his gimmick and being his true self. Very very good role

I forgot about JBL and this made me remember how much I hated his guts as a kid. A true heel. Also, I didn’t know until now that he was Bradshaw wtf

JBL made me really hate him, that's how good he was

That's a great description, and looking back I didn't much care for the JBL character. But I did like Bradshaw (A.P.A)

My older cousins told me JBL was Bradshaw's brother when he made his debut. I can't believe I believed them.
