I've been in such a weird rut when it came to making videos lately so its safe to say that when i came across this meme i was literally like. suddenly struck with motivation which was a big relief LMAO. y'all don't understand how much i adore kane's arc and how close to home it hits especially when it comes to aspects of this video specifically. this meme felt PERFECT for what i wanted to convey and i hope it landed well!!

This is absolutely beautiful and I adore the colors used, but before I get into the story will it be just all sad and gloomy? The description makes it seem like there is no happy ending in this story.

runes (the webcomic these ocs are from) is a multi-volume series and it does contain dark and mature content, but it will eventually have a happy ending. happiness just has to be fought for! its also not all doom and gloom all the time, there are definitely lighter moments in between heavier stuff. but i will say that the first volume which is currently being posted ends on a tragic cliffhanger, but the ending to the entire story will not be tragic. but even then, its important to know where your limits are! runes contains possibly triggering and darker content that is meant to be taken maturely such as abuse, trauma, and grief. its a story about breaking toxic and abusive generational and romantic cycles and, eventually, learning how to heal the wounds such cycles cause. if content like that isn't your cup of tea and/or its genuinely upsetting and triggering for you, please don't read runes! put your safety and well-being above all else. c:

I can totally understand why you were so proud/excited for this video! it has to be some of your best work yet! the anxiety is palpable with kane. the quick flashes of scenes really feel like a battle of control within kane's life. it really seems like everyone is allowed to live and control kanes life except himself. not to mention the rose/vine/apple and angel wings symbolism! don't think i didn't notice!
