Funny fact: Jin actually don't know how to play piano. He had to memorize what keys to press to play beginning of the song for live performance. It took him 3 weeks to learn it well enough and be confident enough to sing and play piano in front of 45k people at first tour concert. lol

yes and no, I mean, traditional sheet music like the kind typically used for piano and for vocal sight reading is different than the chord based sheet music that is most common with guitar. though I believe you can use sheet music for guitar, its less common (as I understand it, I dont play guitar). But, having an understanding of chord progressions from guitar would certainly transfer over to learning the chords on the piano (once you learn were the notes are on the keys).

people always say that cus u can see the veins in Jin's neck on his highnotes that he is straining, but I think that is just how his neck works and he isnt forcing it too much cus if u actually listen to the sound it sounds really lovely and unforced. (at least in my opinion, I am in NO way an authority).

yeah i dont think he's straining a lot. i've been watching epiphany live fancams and he delivers the high notes with ease. i believe his neck veins are just very prominent

@@naturallycurly98 You're both right. Sometimes he is and sometimes he isn't. The presence of veins alone doesn't mean he's straining. You can see Beyonce and Bruno Mars's head and neck veins all the time, and they almost never strain.

The veins pop out if you contract a muscle right? I'm no expert but don't you have to contract muscles when you sing or speak in general? So maybe that's why you see their veins when they hit a high note cause the muscles contract a bit harder.

@@managersejinstan1523 Definition of 'jacked' can be subjective. Some fangirls say Justin Bieber has the best body lol. In my opinion Jin looks like an average teenager who works out sometimes and is skinny/normal but has good shoulder to waist ratio(V taper) while Jungkook looks like a guy who works out just to stay lean and have some decent muscles to show. But Jungkook is stronger than Jin as he can do Lsits and different variations of handstands.

He looks a little awkward in the piano because he actually doesn’t play piano - he learned that piano beginning specifically to perform in their concerts, I love it. Jin is the only one that dont have vocal and dance background. I hope perhaps you can meet him ,coach and somehow give him tips how to connect his chest and head voice also not straining too much at his chesty high note. Because Jin has very beautiful high tone voice that many of us love.

The practice version is my favourite video of Epiphany due to the exact reasons you mentioned. I found it amazingly beautiful and it really touched my heart when I watched it. I am a BTS fan, Jin is my favourite member, so I am biased, but in just really proud of how good he has become, considering he had no singing or dancing experience prior to joining the group.
