Thank you coach , I do 8-10 times a week , most of the time 2 times a day that long 40 to an hour , but you said it’s not good. But how can we become the best if we don’t put quality work and quality work is also quantity . I do around 15 drill per workout and around 8-20 rep per drill , focusing on technique and details and I got way better like in 2 month than some people in years

U need rest, but try to hit the field like 3 times a week along with speed and strength training

How’s your progress going bro! I agree with you drills do help if you do them with a purpose but doing drills blindly in hopes of getting better is not worth it. At the end of the day if your speed and strength are not good enough to match your technique it will be very difficult to win games

I've never played football before, but I want to join for next year as my last of high school. I have just recently started trying to get my weight up/bulking, getting strength and cardio stamina. Where do I start learning to become a db or Safety? How do I train, how do I learn the basic skills? I'd be happy enough to make JV and get some playing time.

Is it ok to do drills 4 days a week and do it for 1 hour and how many days a week do you train in the off-season with your nfl dbs like surtain and x
@GridironStuds2 жыл бұрын
It is but I would really evaluate what you are actually doing out there and see if there is something that you could cut out and keep it to 45 minutes. Sometimes less is more.

@@GridironStuds the first 5 minutes is stretching then another 10 is basic stuff depending on what I do

@GridironStuds Жыл бұрын
I don't train RBs. I train DBs but I would say follow a similar schedule

What if I’m doing drills once a week because of track
@GridironStuds2 жыл бұрын
1 hour tops. You need rest and recovery during a track season.
