Without reading the title, I new I saw something similar on here before. I didn’t even see who posted it and I wondered why Night Shift posted it again lol. This is actually great, and you managed to capture the essence of his work in yours. Get this painted up, weathered, and you will have a great display piece, with a nice nod to our favourite Uncle :)

Very nicely done, a bit of commentary wouldn't hurt Ian, Martin can recommend a good mike or you can just AI it as I do. You will gain more views this way. Chris

Im excited to see how this goes! The Jagdpanther definetly was one of his best. I personally love his US T-34 heavy tank from 1946! Will your base be similar to our Uncle Nightshift's or will you create your own setting?

Hey Ian, cracking build. Can I ask what type of solder and flux are you using?
@CWModelling2 ай бұрын
Thanks.....not sure if this means much but the solder is lead free from JF Solder and the flux is from Thermo Pasty. Not being an expert I just bought some solder and flux from Ebay👍

Awesome build as always! Just wondering what grit sand paper you used on armor texture ? Have a Blessed day
@CWModelling2 ай бұрын
Thanks.....I'm afraid I don't know the grit as I don't have the packaging anymore but its a 'fine' sanding sponge from 3M that I bought at an automobile shop 👍

What is the paste you are using with your iron? Is it a substitute for soldering lead? Keep up the awesome work!
@CWModellingАй бұрын
Hi, its a 'tinning' paste for tinning the solder tip but I've found you can also use it to solder if you load the tip......probably not the best way to do it but hey ho😉
