A great field of cars will be on hand to honor the long time promoter and sponsor of the sport of short track stock car racing. The event is Titled sponsored by Wehrs Machine & Racing Products, Bangor, WI., along with Bentley Trucking of Iron River Michigan and Des Moines, Iowa. Clason Buick-GMC, INC., of La Crosse, WI., has also stepped up to the plate adding $500.00 to the Feature race pay-out. A $500.00 bonus, courtesy of ULTRA FORCE Machines by Wehrs will be paid to the overall winner of the event, based on drivers' finishes in the two 30 lap Feature events. That driver will also be crowned the Larry Wehrs Tribute race Champion.
