Shalini Sooklall only if they gave u a graph and said to use the graph... But... Usually no. Another viable route for finding the roots is using the quadratic formula.

Hey sir I have a problem 🤔... My sir told us that we have to change the sign of the x value for example: AoS: x= -h so therefore if we have -2 the answer would be 2 ... How is that so ?

Ashley Jhingoor I'm going out on a limb here and saying sir probably didn't say change the sign of the x... but change the sign of the h... hence... x=-h So if you had (x-2) at the start of the completing the square form you would have x=2 for the axis of symmetry.
