Love your reviews man. You really seem to have deep knowledge of the flashlight world. Not every flashlight reviewer goes into as much in-depth testing as you do. I really like that about your videos. When other reviewers mainly talk about features and untested, unproven, manufacturers' specs for any given light. You actually test the lights to see how they compare to the specs on the box.

Wish you would show the lights prior to any mods, there is still a lot of us that Watch your channel that don’t quite have the skills to swap in LED

Of course I did!, check out the E70 here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqPQd6lnn82UgpY and 3S here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZzUc5yCqN-ab9k I never mod lights until I’ve reviewed them properly as they come.

So you get stuck with a 21700 battery with USB-C charging port on it. Sort of proprietary. Some competitors are using USB-C charging port built on flashlight's body so you can use any 21700 you find around and have as spares in your pocket

The UI is a lot like my Nitecore MH12 but the light itself is much brighter. This one is on my list.

You know what I would really be interested in? Actual runtimes for turbo and Hi. How long does a light run starting from turbo down to hi, and how long does hi run down to the next level?
@cheule Жыл бұрын
I have only just recently acquired the equipment to do this. I might do it for important reviews, but it’s such a PITA I might not always do it.

Great review, new subscriber here and binging through your videos these days :) It's a shame they don't sell through amazon in Italy. That green tint though is too much...green. Hope they'll release a warmer tint.
@cheule2 жыл бұрын
I agree. But let me add that if you’re a tint slob like me, there is basically no flashlight manufacturer that ships lights with a neutral or rosy enough emitter. I end up emitter swapping a majority of my lights. I’ll have a video coming out in a week or so about emitter swapping an Olight Warrior 3S, which I think once swapped, will be one of the finest edc lights available.

I'm not really interested in this light as it's way too big to EDC for me personally but I still like to watch your well thought out reviews Cheule 👍 Also side note my buddy loves his SP36 and D4SV2 that you modded 519As into 💪

Reverse clip is usually good to attach the flashlight to a cap, but this one would be too heavy for that.

Disculpe, estando la linterna en turbo, se calienta mucho?
@cheule2 жыл бұрын
Yes, all high powered flashlights get hot on turbo except very massive and overbuilt flashlights like the BLF GT with XHP35. Look it up, it’s a massive flashlight with a relatively small emitter.

Great review and comparison! Out of the Cyansky and the Acebeam, which has the best range? Obviously both are more floody but it seems to me that the Acebeam could just about touch the 100m mark, where the Cyansky could not
@cheule2 жыл бұрын
That’s probably true, mostly because the E70 has a slightly larger reflector. But, remember that I had a domeless 70.3 swapped in. The original domed 70.2 might have been more similar to the P25.

So I'm looking for an EDC Flashlight that has a very low rising (or even non-existent but functional because Canadian Laws and such and I'm gonna be there on a visa and what not) strike bezel for any sort of small scale self-defense; think mugging or such, and I am now fixed on the Thrunite TN12 Pro. I say this because I couldn't help but notice this one's design is VERY similar to that of the TN12 Pro. But I digress... IF anyone has any other suggestion for a substitute that goes along with what a said above please do recommend!
@cheule2 жыл бұрын
I love the TN12 pro for a pocket thrower. But I find it less useful for general EDC because the SST-40 in it is so throwy. For EDC, a larger emitter like the Cree XHP70 line found in the E70 and P25 are probably better. If you can wait a week, I’m going to create a video showing how to emitter swap an Olight Warrior 3S, which I think is probably one of the finest EDC options available (if you swap it!).
@TheRealBoomsledge2 жыл бұрын
@@cheule RIght, I'd like to add some more to this! Firstly thanks a bunch for the quick reply! Secondly, *budget is an issue* (being a student and all but maybe that's just my current mindset of me being South Asian HAHHA!). I specifically am looking at the TN12 Pro because of the cheap price tag. Now, if THAT can be remedied (in terms of a different product and/or even emitter swap) or even be substituted with a whole other EDC Flashlight, then I'm all for it! Finally, *Canada has strict laws* of course, and I have no intentions of being provoking or even be in a sticky situation i.e. roaming about after hours and such (I say this all in part of my anxiety just taking the wheel for me and I'd rather be safe than sorry), hence at least a strike bezel with minimum protrusion (adding a pepper spray the my EDC would be the best for me as well!).

@@cheule Hey man, just got an update for you. Moved to Canada a month back for studies, ordered and had the Thrunite TN12 Pro delivered through amazon today, loving the weight and throw of it! I know this is not the right vid but had to put the comment in here for context from 5 months back. Thanks for all you do!

I haven't purchased a really nice LED in ages. For me a perfect flaslight would be IPX8, have a charge status indicator like the O-light Warrior 3S, a glow ring or rods, have a bright of 2000 lumens or greater (tested), a medium 400 lumen (tested) 6 hours or more, have USB type C to Type C charging 3amp (to the flashlight not the batteries), in a size about that of an innova T4 - streamlight HL5-x would be a little too large - it doesn't need to be as small as the nitecore e4K (although no complaint if it is).
