Hi Jean-Pier, first thanks for your videos. They have help me many times performing configurations on our Sonicwalls. I wanted to know if you are planing to do in the near future you are planing to do a video on the configuration on the Comprehensive Anti-Spam Service. I had a hard time configuring this service. Even with tech support on the phone. It seems that tech support is less familiar with this feature as on most cases they have help me very well. Except on this. Again, thanks a lot for your videos.

Hi Julio, Thanks for the positive comment. Unfortunately I’m not planning to do any video about email security on the firewall. Almost all customer I talk to are on Office 365 which is covered by Cloud Application security which I did a video on.

Hey Jean-Pier, Great video!!.. I got a question: What tools you can get from SonicWall to protect users from browser attacks like “BeEF” ?

This video is now a year old, interesting to see how the cards landed. I'm using geo-ip and look at logs everyday and the countries trying to search for open ports or just pinging my NSA really isn't russia. India, UAE, China are my top offenders here in the USA. We should have better tools to keep these incoming packet commands from happening. Send me a ping and you should get 10 times the packets back to that IP. It should be looked at like someone walking up to your front door on your house and trying the door knob to see if it's unlocked.

I’m not really surprised you don’t see much traffic from Russia. Using vpn services or solution like TOR can allow anyone to appear to come from another country. There are different classes of hackers, there are the wanna be and the elite. And just like most country, Russia have both :-)

the loss of having pop out live graphs while still being able to work on the sonicwall is no fun, am I missing something.
@JeanPierTalbot2 жыл бұрын
agreed, pop-ups were useful. but many browser were making it not so fun. I prefer the new interface. when you need to check something, you can always open a second tab in your browser and have a second management session in the firewall.
