I always liked Cyber Dragons... But currently they are flatout are not good enough! You are right that people over-hyped Infinity up for ages. The truth is in Duel Links a single negation card isn't gonna save yo bum anymore like it may had few years ago, as even many causal decks have ways to deal with 1 or 2 negates. Already from my experience whenever I face a Cyber player, and the only cards on their field end up being Chronomaly Vimana + Cyber Dragon Infinity... I'll usually laugh to myself, as it ends up often being a free win even while playing my Fun decks. xD

I am also cursing Playmaker for making me dig into the Starving Venom box (a fairly mid box) solely to play Predaplant because I saw his video too where he went on like a 20 game winstreak with a fairly free to play version of the deck. I'm not really sold on Predaplants just yet because the problem with them is that they have no real ways to deal with enemy backrow, which leads them open to getting hit by backrow. I haven't really tested it yet because it's late-season King of Games but I feel like Predaplants just get cooked to my Altergeists, a backrow deck. I just don't see how Predaplant deals with me getting rid of their Dragostapelia negate then comboing off from there while having better grind game than they do. I guess I'll test it next month when ladder resets for the November 2024 ranked season. As for Cyber Dragon, I don't think the deck is bad, but at the same time, it's nothing amazing either. Yeah, you have the tools to deal with your opponent's board and the searchable Jizukiru is nice for answering Assembled Nightingale, but that's not enough I feel. You can sack games too with Barrage Blast if you play it but even that's not searchable. I don't know, the Starving Venom mainbox is still new and since mainboxes are generally expensive, people are still pulling on the box trying to finish the decks so it might be too early to judge. I also find it funny how Cyber Dragon hasn't won any tournaments lately, proving even more that Cyber Dragon is just a ladder deck at best. As I said, it might be too early to make judgements on the Starving Venom box because the box is still new so we'll have to wait for next season to see what people come up with and how the box stacks up. And finally, for anyone asking about the lack of Cyber Emergency in your deck, it's fine, you don't really need it. Yes, Cyber Emergency does make your deck a bit more consistent but your Skill already sets up everything for you. The only thing that you're truly "losing" from not playing Cyber Emergency is your ability to search out Jizukiru (the Kaiju), but you don't really need the Kaiju to win the Duel or set up your board. You can still make Cyber Dragon plays without Cyber Emergency, which is pretty much what you showcased in your video. Great video as always Mekklord! =) For the next video, I know you said you're wanting to try out Predaplants, but if you have time, can you try out Darklords too? I feel like Darklords have potential to cheese wins, but at the same time, Ixchel being limit one still hurts the deck. Maybe one day Konami can find it in their hearts to forgive Darklords and give them more copies of Ixchel but for now, the deck's at least super fun. I'm having a ton of fun with Darklords and I've yet to test out Predaplants.

FYI Jizukiru can't be searched off Cyber Emergency, since it indeed can be Normal Summoned (not that you would ever want to)

the biggest thing ive learned about this deck is that there are way too many people are chaining Cyberload Fusion for 0 value. i counted at least 4 so far in my duels already. do that shit on a new chain folks. your Rampage Dragon will thank you later

@@PippoZorro Rampage Dragon’s on summon effect is a “When” effect, so it misses timing if Cyberload Fusion is activated chain link 2 or higher. if you activated it on an open board state, chain link 1, then you will get its effect to destroy cards

Ghostricks are by far the best deck in the box even with the limits, they absolutely farm lyralisc and have a broken skill. Only problem is you have to be a psychopath to enjoy playing them

Galaxy Soilder is bait. You should be playing Overload fusion instead. With the skill setting up one CyDra for free overload is really good. It also gets you a level 5 on the field so even if Chimera gets hit by Droplet/Chalice you can still XYZ. yoo my list is exactly same except i play 2 cydras and no machine dupe. overload is really cool since rampage is very versatile as it can effectively search a cydra monster thx to herz, it can make into a nova or it can become a 4k triple attack beatstick with sieger

it is mid and thats fine. its fairly easy to kog with and probably safe from any limits in the future. no need for overflow to be back imo. its possible to play a bit more fusion oriented version with overdragon and 2x overload fusion + 1 cyberload fusion because rampage can still go into nova after effectively searching for core. its still an xyz focused control deck but a bit more fun for me. im sorry you had to dig for this box :P also any plans to play darklords 👀very cool boss monster with neat combos

Until they unlimited overflow and give us free access to Three overflow again with a crazy fusion skill then you going to cry again. They should give us 3 copies of overflow and three copies of Infinity. That is only fair. Because Birds are at full power still, without any limits and can use Droplet. So it is only fair to unlimit overflow for cydras and give us two more copies of Infinity. And totally unlimited Dark lords also. Why are Excel still limited after almost 4 years? Does not make sense if Birds are still at full power?

If only they have overflow at limit 2... Or limit 3... Or EVEN UNLIMITED. Heck, that's their only available in-archetype interaction next to infinity's omni-negate and maybe/probably Seiger's... Attack boost lmaooo. Such a mid turn 1. Dies to a Book of Moon or Eclipse. Just play go second with Seiger + Rampage and go ham in ranked or the next KC cup like the old days.

Ancient warriors is fun. Just run 2 kaijus and droplet/eclipse. You can definitely spam the board and they have the monster that makes the others not targetable

I feel freeing cyberload and overflow at 2 will make the deck tier 2 or 3 since barrage is good if you have live xyz monsters not when you're board gets wrecked and the recycling that the deck was famous for using overflow then fusion doesn't exist now
