This is a trap, and this is peak modern day Blackfriday/Cyber Monday predatory tactics!! I’m grateful they didn’t do the Taran or AVRE to put it in more hands, but these prices are actually STUPID. I expected them to be like 10 million or maybe 20 million. Especially since premium tier X’s are ACTUALLY valued at 9 million. This is a hard bait to get many players broke. All so that they HAVE to play a crap ton to get their money back. IMO the only 2 that are worth it if you have 100’s of millions to spend is the 279e and the FV. The rest of them are just ok. I’m pretty disappointed with the random tanks they chose. The double tap is just stupid since it was barely released last year. 121b is something I don’t think anybody but the few who already have everything wanted.

When this was announced only so many days ago, if you weren’t already in the bracket to afford it then you had zero chance to ever buy these. I started my silver grind when it was announced and played when I could. I went from 5 million to 30 million just barely last night. I’m also working on multiple tier X’s and have had to spend time and silver towards those lines as I progressed this weekend as well. Even if I had only grinded silver I would maybe have enough to get the 50 million deals. It was so predatory how they baited people only so few days before it was dropped, which obviously didn’t give anybody enough time to prepare. But nobody knew it was gonna be this expensive anyway so you couldn’t prepare to begin with. This was marketed towards a very specific crowd of people. Those that are foolish will buy them with IRL money that couldn’t afford it with leftover silver they never had. They got a lot of people very excited all to just screw over their player base again.

@@EAC197 I think if people are in your shoes it’s less of a big deal, but most people are not in a silver situation like that. I think the biggest issue is how much of a let down this was for many people that were hopping to reward themselves this early holiday season. Especially those that are newer and or are less IRL financially secure. I can only imagine the feeling for a guy who only picks the game up within the last year and saw this and grinded all weekend just to get screwed over hard. Especially if it was a kid like I once was when I started playing.

The BIG news is that you can gift the tanks for silver! This is great. I gifted my son a 121B for silver and got the 2 tier 9s for myself. But I started with 330m silver. Never really played Cold War though. Brilliant idea. Gifting is a fab idea. But the silver prices should be half what they were this time. DON'T forget to equip and camo new tanks before the sales end though.

I thought these were the essential tanks the CC's chose you needed to own. The 121b is ok nothing special, 279e is an old meme that most veterans got for free, kunze panzer is good for the better players but useless for newer players, ts 54 is utter garbage which should be a t8, fv4211 was good but is now been power crept to death and the chieftain 120 was incredible but now the gau 8 avenger Gatling gun eats them for breakfast. Also if the kunze panzer sees the t10 t249 gatling gun it is toast not having any armour. This is literally a silver sink which ironically is useless for the players that could most use it ftp and newer players as they wont have the silver needed to get them. Most veteran players will already own most of these tanks. The only ones I need are the t9s but they both suck in the current meta.

Full Gold price for the Kunze Panzer is 17,500 Gold. At the in game convert Gold to Silver is 1 to 400. So 17,500 would be 7,000,000 silver. Buying it for Silver is 75,000,000, roughly 11 times more expensive. Another missed opportunity.

But tbh a premium account isn't much each year and you can earn so many premium days within a year through seasons and contracts you get the odd free year every now and then. I could grind silver a heck of a lot harder though even in ww2, especially if I didn't spam premium rounds as much. I will probably renew premium account now, but I'm already at 331 days premium, so either this year or next will be free. :o)
