Blender Beginner Question 3:16 Change Connector and how to make like a "Cyber Muscles SAMPLE" ( with lattice and curve / bone )?

I'll release that video tomorrow. I use a free script that does it for me. Stay tuned.

So how would one rig these to a deforming mesh such that they don’t heavily clip through the deforming mesh? =o
@ArmoredColony Жыл бұрын
They're more for concepting/ideation, but even in a production environment I've seen pretty bone breaking rig positions just to get the character to do something, while the weird stuff was happing out frame so it was fine. TLDR Let it clip 📎 but I wouldnt place them under the skin of a realistic human

@@ArmoredColony hah! Thank you :) I’ve got some plans for this pack ;)

Are you familiar with bendy bones in blender?
@cgooch_ Жыл бұрын
@@ArmoredColony a little. I’m more of a concept sculpted and have only recently become more familiarized with mesh optimization and simple rigging. I’d refer you to my channel, but that’s more of a conceptual art dump than anything worth reviewing for examples /:l I think I see what you’re asking though. If the endpoints of the bendy bones could be fixed to normal bones, I could see there being key shapes or something involved with figure movement? Maybe? I could also see the lattice modifier being deformed based off vertex points of the mesh moving during deformation. But that’s in my head - nothing I’ve ever tried (might not be possible)

@C Gooch I took a look and I love your concepts. Theyre awesome. I don't have any rigging experience either, but I want to make concepts just like yours more regularly. That's a big reason I made this pack in the first place.

Each 3D software has different ways of applying deformers, you have to look up how to add those in your particular software. If you use ZBrush, I have a dedicated video for that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp-VZZpnfZhprpo&ab_channel=ArmoredColony Also, I mentioned a secondary blender file but I decided to get rid of it because it wasn't very helpful and it just made the download really big for blender people.

where did you learn to design , yes these are inspired by Vitaly Bulgarov but you have taken them and made them unique , fantastic work.The artist in me wants to buy but the modeller in me wants to study and model these ones.Great work.

I fully understand what you mean. I was in the exact same spot when I got Vitaly's kitbash pack (which I never actually used haha). I was so inspired that instead of using it I studied it up close, saw how he handled some details and topology and over time, once my skills were more developed, I created my own version of Cyber Muscles which you see here. So that's the trick. Learn by imitation. Eventually, your designs will become more personal and you will develop a style of your own. My kitbash pack looks good, but that's because I never showcase the failed designs, so don't think that everything you make has to be a success.

@@ArmoredColony I understand , I am really good at modelling , you name it but I mostly copy what I see , when it comes to design not the greatest but I am going to study after this week , its been pretty tough , seeing your stuff just inspired me even more.Peace.

@@ahmedshakib3883 I still struggle with design myself. Just gotta practice.
