@@ratyrat5 wow this was the most unhelpful reply ever 😆. Man why did you actually waste time to even comment? I'm well aware that research is essential in this field, however mapping out the path to the certs that make the most difference can be daunting as many reading this will agree. Think ...take a few...and actually think about your responses, don't waste someone's time as you have mine here /now. In fact begin getting used to writing better responses as in this field you'll most likely be required to write entire field reports and assessments in which is highly advise you not to slap down "Look get used to doing research on your security on your network, viruses and malware is bad, ummmkay". Sheesh.

cloud security is apart of cybersecurity. similar to ethical hacking / pentesting, i would not say it is entry level. learn the fundamentals first + experience as regular SOC or cyber analyst and start learning cloud after.

he says in the video :) 1) start learning. i recommend doing Google Cybersecurity Certification as it is very good to learn fundamentals but it is not recognized a lot to be strong for resume 2) get strong certs like sec+. maybe additional certs if you want to apply to a specific specialization, but sec+ shud be enough. 3) get experience with home projects. google for projects to do. youtube tutorials on cybersecurity tools like SIEM. have a portfolio to document all of this. they all count as experience even with no job :) ghere are also many other videos that have good information. i recommend the UnixGuy youtube channel. it is important to be comfortable with researching on your own. it is super important in the field
