Ah! Thanks for this. I've been trying to find the name of this game for years. I was 12 when this came out and I remember how much the music stuck in my head. The search is over!

Ah, I searched for Cyber Speedway so I could remember the music.

I really liked this as a kid. I only ever made it to the final stage one time, and of course it was when I had no memory card plugged in.

Music sounds like a cross between a song from Cowboy Bebop and from a 1980's surf movie.

I really enjoyed this game, probably got a lot more hours out of it than I was meant too. But it was my 1st 2P racer for the Saturn, and played beautifully with the arcade racer. I even like the story, and meeting the racers before the next race... but wow... I had no idea they changed the soundtrack for the US version. Watching this and hearing it... just seems wrong. Like watching the US version of Sonic CD with it's new alternative soundtrack. Wonder why it was so popular to replace music in the US versions of games back then. Would have been cheaper keeping the existing soundtrack and less effort, like the Euro versions I was used to.

+Cobra Blade I don't typically understand soundtrack changes either...if they could have, given the storage, it should have tried to have BOTH; kind of like Bloody Roar 2 did; it had the Playstation arranged soundtrack, and you could switch it to the Arcade soundtrack...two different soundtracks, both amazing. With this game, it may just have been a promotional thing for Bygone Dogs...

This is the music from the saturn bootleg sampler. Good track.

Maybe I'm used to mediocre games, but it doesn't seem that bad. Probably a good time killer if nothing else. Plus I really dig the Bygone Dog's music backing in the NTSC version. I might track it down someday.

cool looking game... maybe I'll have to find a copy of this game and toss it in my old Saturn. maybe not quite Wipeout but still

I've been trying to find this for years, always thinking it was Wipeout.

Many anti gravity racers back then. Guess wipeout is the only one that came through

Maybe in the US, nobody gave a shit about F-Zero in Europe.

F-Zero is the second best selling futuristic racing game ever behind Star Wars Episode I: Racer (N64).

I am so disappointed! I bought this game cos of the incredible soundtrack and the PAL-version seems to have another OST. Not bad too, but more electronic (and thus actually better fittiing the game and topic), but it's... just not THIS. I love the soundtrack in this version. Prolly have to get the NTSC game. Game itself ain't that sabby either, I had some fun with it. No wipout, but quite fun nevertheless.
