Even though I'm used to comic book drawings, it took me a while to understand what was happening on this cover. In the 90s I was fascinated by this type of art (hatching, digital colors, etc.) Last year I was looking at some comics from the 90s and I noticed that many of the pages are hard to read (visually) and a bit confusing at times. For Image in this era I use a "two finger" approach. Basically, hold two fingers over the mid-section and the character looks decent. Like the breasts upwards is one part, and the hips down are fine. It's the whole stomach area that never works.
