It's a bit more than that, really. Palladium Oracle Mahad's effect of summoning a Dark Magician from the deck, hand or GY if it is sent from the field to the GY or banished pile represents Mahad's defeat and transformation into Dark Magician. Eternal Soul on the other hand represents Dark Magician's stone tablet. We know that if the tablets are broken, then the monster sealed inside is destroyed. Hence why Eternal Soul nukes your field when it's destroyed.

Highly highly recommend Beat Cop from the Underworld. It only takes 2 monsters and if both the monsters were DARK, you can place a counter on a face up card. Put the counter on Eternal soul and if eternal soul would be destroyed you lose the counter instead. It's sooooooooo good.

So my favourite cards a first off the old trio with Dark magician, red and blue eyed dragon and then also stardust dragon. So if you can make profiles with those cards it would be awesome! I also have a deck around Horus the darkflame lvl 10 but since it is not that competitive ( and I don't play competitive anyway) I don't think you would see it worth a video ^^. Anyways, thanks for this awesome profiles of the dark magician, you are awesome!

I understand that you play two of bond just to get the card more quickly, but let’s say you start with your opening hand and you draw DBM (dark burning magic and later you draw into bond, it’s kinda useless at that point. But when the new dark magician support comes out next year, I would suggest on only playing 1 copy due to space (I know I would, because rod can search it and plus I don’t want to brick lol 😂

i think it would be cool if they had a trap card that stopped all 1000 and above monsters attacks until it was destroyed and maybe have another card or the same card allow for direct damage because you could flood someone with easy summon cards or little guys like a goblin deck or something,they havent seen much bt they are in the universe clearly but it would be cool to see a goblin deck that overpowers by speed and agility rather then shear power

Should include every fusion monster of dark magician. DM dragon knight = spell and trap protection Amulet dragon = I rarely use this but when I do shits gonna get ugly plus you can resurect DM Dark Paladin = good againts deck dragon and an added extra negation Dark Cavalry = This is also an Amulet dragon but the second effect ia piercing damage very good for stall deck. Everyone has its uses and using them makes the deck more flexible anytime, I also hate including extra deck that is not associated with DM.

Maybe someone can help explain why at a local recently, I used dark magic circle, to look at my cards, i added dark magician, and my opponent, demanded me to show the 3 cards, and show them the card I chose, I thought in the text it says you may show the card, and eternal soul does that work for dark magician girl? She is a dark magician as well. What does eternal soul protect dark magician from? A kaiju?

lou ruitatsu it’s only one monster and with the amount of protection cards can have from being immune to target or invulnerable to card effect destruction you’re better off with Dark Burning Attack as a nuke

I agree Thousand Knives is a useful spell card in a DM deck. Some people do not like running cards like that because it only destroys one monster. But I like having fun with my decks I don’t really like using three copies of everything, and I like to have variety. Your opponent will never see it coming if you have a variety of different cards, and not just two-three copies of stronger cards. Then it becomes predictable.

I don't think he's necessarily a serious competitive duelist. I noticed he'll sometimes mix meta-like cards with the monster he's profiling. He's consistent but other than that he doesn't seem to know how to play competitively.

But you can combo from it. Use Dark Magician to summon Link Spider. Use Eternal Soul to bring DM back then use Eye of Timaeus to summon a DM fusion to the new extra monster zone. If Link Spider then gets destroyed, who cares. Could also use him to summon a stronger link monster instead. Sorta like what some decks do with Linkkuriboh.

Ignore the link monsters then look for either more Rank 7 XYZs or some fusions that require dark monsters like Dark Calvary or Starving Venom Fusion Dragon for examples. Unsure why you wouldn't run any links unless you purely play for fun which is fine.

I didn't pull the big student and teacher card. I pulled decent for 6 boxes of duel power. I wish I could make my deck better, I don't have many of some of this. Though, I do play chocolate magician girl for draw power, plus she can revive a spell caster if she is attacked.

Rod only shows up so much, I like the draw plus the combo that is possible. There isn't many low level monsters in the deck as there is, I still use breaker XD and I run full three of rod.

Having two can help if one gets banished so you can summon the second one. I personally run 3 but that's only because I don't have a Borrelsword and Unicorn. I have been using Borreload Dragon myself but haven't been able to summon it yet.

DMG is still bricky and Bond Between Teacher and Student doesn't help improve the deck *at all* . The only thing this whole hype did was to cause the price of this card to skyrocket within just 2 days. So now you gotta pay 8 bucks to make a deck that you are supposed to simply play with your friends, have a good time, and laugh after you lose.
