Dude! Your deck is impressive! Ever since the original show, the Dark Magician has been my favorite duel monster. The fact they made a deck around this monster is awesome!

awesometjgreen thanks, but I don’t have a desk top, or a lap top. I play Duel Links and use my Dark Magician Deck on there. But I miss using the actual cards. My wife complains I waste money on cards I never use. At one point I was justified because my cousin started dueling again. But then he quickly stopped and got rid of his cards. I haven’t had a real duel in years unfortunately

I always feel like Kiratwig2 be making decks like they’re custom structure decks for all these different archetypes it’s sometimes hard to find examples of, and provides an excellent template that the viewer and duelist and build off of and make their own changes to expand off the strategy. And he doesn’t include the highest of value cards at times making the strategy feel affordable and know there is more support out there for them to experiment.

I find some of the choices to be questionable. Like dark magic attack is more useful than thousand knives on the account that your DMC & MoC already clears out individual targets, but you don’t have much in terms of taking care of backrow. Dark magic curtain doesn’t really help due to you not being able to summon for the rest of the turn. Since you’re running bonds, you may as well replace curtain with dark burning magic.

Magician of Chaos's effect can summon it. You use it's destruction effect to pop itself and summon MoBCM on your opponent's turn.

nice profile i love it 😉👍 but try to include 3x preparation of rites, take out 3x manju and include 3x apprentice illusion magician for search and OTK. because when your opponent negated your searching effect with ash / impermanence you lose your normal summon with manju

You wouldn’t be able to fully utilize Pre Preparation in the deck sadly it’ll only give you one search not two.

Is the only way you can summon magician of black chaos max through the effect of magician of chaos? Because chaos form says the tributed monsters have to equal exactly the correct level and since you don't have any level 8 monsters I was just wondering how you would do it.

I took out the dark magician girl cards and added in 3 effect veiler to help with that. Since there's a lot of lvl7 monsters the effect veiler just seemed like a good option since it's also a spellcaster tuner too

honestly just needs some apprentice illusion magicians to help get 1 dm to the hand then the whole deck is built to get it out or go into the ritual monsters

Even among my casual strats, this deck has a few missteps. The biggest is no Apprentice illusion, but also no DMA. There's also not much reason to play the one Dark Magician Girl as there's no spell cards for her to utilize and he's not going into fusions.

Magician if Chaos can't summon dark magician of chaos. Magician of chaos can only summon chaos ritual monsters or bls ritual monsters from hand ignoring summoning conditions.

@@meineplaylist9603 the way it's worded on the card itself "If this ritual summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Chaos" or Black Luster Soldier" RITUAL MONSTER from your hand ignoring its summoning conditions." That is the actual text on Magician of Chaos itself. Dark Magician of Chaos is not a ritual monster There for it cannot be summoned off of Magician of Chaos should it be destroyed. He can summon Magician of chaos Max, Magician of black Chaos, Blue eyes chaos Max dragon, blue eyes chaos dragon, or any chaos BLS ritual monster.

Shuts off enemy monster effects for a turn, and when it kills something you can pull any spell back from your grave. This deck isn't optimal, so a lot of his spells aren't worth getting back, but getting something like Raigeki or any of the Pots, or back row destruction are pretty great
