Compared to Final Cut or DaVince this looks so much cleaner and easier to use, and it also has more functionality, especially A.I. right out of the box it seems. The price doesn't sound too bad for all those features.

I like that new interface. makes it nice to navigate and a few new features. Worth the upgrade i beleive.

It's pain in the butt. They removed several buttons, that were been useful in PD 17. And I experienced sound lagging during editing. It is soooo impossible to edit video. So for now I use PD for burning Blu-rays only and for editing Adobe Premier Pro, which is also not intuitive at all, but at least sound and video in sync.

Did they really get rid of the video clip opacity bar/keyframe fades from the timeline?!? I am no longer able to adjust how long my clip fades in and at what transparency in the timeline....

@@fishycomics That would be the way if you have 1 clip. When you have like 300 and you on the middle of timeline, good luck with finding your last changes. I found that if I click on empty track between video and audio, the clip selection is gone and it plays as same as in movie mode. I passed that issue now. Now the problem is that during playback in editing mode the video slower than audio. Man haven't opened his mouth, but I hear he said couple words already. Even the audio from next clip starts before previous one played. Each clip now mutes the audio in the end about second or so. I tried different preview modes including HD preview. I didn't help. Any Ideas?

I'm Mario from Palermo (Italy). Yesterday I bought POWER DIRECTOR 2024 online (139 euros!) and installed it on my computer. Everything seemed to be going well, but during video production the program crashes and I even have to restart the PC. To produce a 7 minute video I spent hours trying and trying again; during rendering the program crashes. What could it depend on? I have been working with Power Director for years, before I was 18 and every now and then it also had this problem. Could it be due to some app blocking the program? I tried uninstalling but I couldn't solve the problem.

can be a conflict with the program maybe something it disagrees with codecs I am not sure I have gotten crashes and all

I loved this program, unfortunately Cyberlink has disabled the best thing it had, which were the FX New Blue and Borix FX that I really liked, this also caused a headache for many users when installing this version, that's why I don't use it anymore.

pd2024 I had one crash no more after the first use. motion track is working now but I have spaces when I add a scene. I deal with Magix but love PD2021

I go check out Capcut, Powerdirector 2024 the best youtube Malik has issues that does awesome tutorials, it has gone the A.I. Route if you take the time to learn any program, then try Resolve by devinchi, Filmora is nice to use like the titles but I am not happy wit hPD22 as it no longer will attach a video when placed to a timeline you must do it yourself hope tht helps capcut is free and offers a lot of thing

@@johnygthing i transitioned over to Wondershare Filmora 13, I do use Cyberlink now and then I do get a crash with the new update I. Would say it has to do with windows and all, the Blur never gotten fixed when I use it that always crashes and the audio line sucks to edit with for me, seems Cyberlink lost a lot of good Customers wit their new version. @fishycomics I had filmora but got a refund after I added a title and then it wanted to charge me monthly just for titles and extras ,after I paid £80 perpetual

Power director will not support a MXF file. Just video know Audio. I call cyberlink and there just giving me the run-around there not helpful .
