Poor Mark, 11 hours is a pretty brutal time to learn to go solo.

Mark did eventually leave the army and he went into Banking where I believe he still works. He was a lovely guy when I knew him. I wish him nothing but good. ❤️🌹

Learning to fly can for some be nerve-bashing. Everybody is different - an individual when it comes to learning processes. This flight schedule that the trainees have to adhere to is very intensive compared with private or civilian flying. Plus its for rotary which is harder to train for than fixed wing flying.

Wrong, you have to be the rank on L/CPL to apply for aircrew/pilot in the AAC, preferably, the rank of L/SGT or SGT, unless you have 2 a levels and 5 GCSE's A-C then you can't become an officer... And if you manage to pick up the qualifications, you have to go to Sandhurst for IOT...

Really? So no-one is a commissioned officer in the AAC unless they've started as a trooper?! Wow. Or is that for the flying course? When I was in you could be a LCpl to apply for the course. But everyone on this course is a Cpl and up?

They couldn’t risk any old idiot on one of the most expensive weapon systems in the U.K. military. Harry earned his place as an Apache pilot. Unfortunately though , his judgement when it came to relationships wasn’t as finely honed as his flying judgment and he has now been pretty much emasculated by a deranged American social justice warrior . As a consequence he has lost a lot of admirers .
