Its funny like i felt so lonely when i lived in Rio, and then Mike Pondsmith said "São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the most cyberpunk cities in the world." Judy, i feel you, gal!

Glitch, you have absolutely no idea how grateful I am for this upload. I was scouring everywhere for this tune to no avail, but have now reached your channel by accident! This ambience just truly captures that somber, calm feeling of desolation. It is a tired lullaby of content among suffering, finally soothing a restless optimism to sleep. The world is in pieces. And yet, somehow I have managed to glue some of it back together with utter stillness. Thank you so much for sharing this.

I think Night City’s ambient music specifically suits the whole city and the life inside it so well, you can kinda hear and feel the corruption, helplessness and depression in the soundtrack somehow. Makes me feel so many things it’s really well done, I love it so much.

I have to give you credit where credit is due, Glitch, you pick some great vantage points for your videos. It does the game proud. Well done. To my fellow chooms out there, I think what does it for me, in terms of the emotional sadness this game wraps you in, is the loneliness you feel once every mission is done. All those calls and texts are now silent. After Judy left, I found myself smiling when she would initially text you out of the blue - at least she wanted to keep in touch... for a while. Then I discovered her back at her apartment, staring out of her window. So every now and then I'd drive, or run, back there to see her - to reconnect, if you like. But I still felt sad. If CDPR want to do something (in the coming updates/patches) to breathe some life into this game from a player perspective, one of the things I would welcome would be texts from the folks you bonded with most within game. As it stands, you just feel like you've been used and tossed aside. In Night City, you've become the loneliest person alive.

Over 300 in-game hours later, and I still find myself checking in on Judy (and my Aldecaldos family) from time to time when I start up the game. :) If CDPR did one thing right, they definitely nailed the realistically flawed nature of it's main characters. I agree, it does feel pretty empty when every mission is done and I also wish they had gotten the chance to add more calls or texts as well. But I think the game speaks for itself when so many players have spent such a crazy amount of hours into it and at the end of it all, we still wanted More. Really don't see very many games like this come along anymore. It's a lot more special than people give it credit for.

@@glitch.cyberpunk I'm 100% in agreement with you, Glitch. I am painfully aware of the programming magnitude, and costs involved in adding these things we pine for, but maybe one day, long after I'm dust and returned to the earth, there will be games like this that will have its own form of sentience, when game characters will communicate with you of their own, but limited, volition. Oddly enough, returning to the loneliness aspect, I feel more abandoned by Panam, than I did Judy. Considering Panam was my character's love interest, he had more attention from Judy than he did Panam. But I so fell in love with Judy, and parting from her cut deep and hurt like a slow burn. I just wonder why CDPR left her (Judy) in her apartment as they have after she 'leaves' Night City. Some players having even seen her driving her van through NC? Not complaining, just curious. PS: liked, subbed and dinged that bell.

Definitely a motiff to that song. Feels intentional, like how wrapped up in night City Judy is. She is an exceptional person who wants to just live a quiet life in a city that indiscriminately crushes anyone that isn't extraordinary. The music for this game needs some time of recognition for the absolutely brilliant layers behind it

How do you turn mission icons off?

I had the Fool On The Hill mission selected at the time, which gets rid of the gps thing. There's also a camera mod that allows you to disable everything on screen, plus doubles as a free camera. I've forgotten what is was called, but I'm sure there are plenty of "how to" videos already on KZbin that show how to install it and where to find it. ;)

Cara, quase um ano desde o lançamento desse game, e até hoje eu não consigo acreditar no que rolou. Os caras tinham tudo, um universo bom, personagens bons, uma história mt foda. Embora tudo isso tenha continuado com a versão, o fracasso com os problemas tecnológicos apagaram o brilho de qualquer coisa boa que esse game poderia ter sido ou trazido. Um total e completo desperdício de história e oportunidade.

At least Bethesda released the source code + modder's resources so the modders can fix All those bugs. Why don't these guys do the same? Their engines are crap anyway.

most companies are very concerned with keeping their tech to themselves especially when it's an in-house engine also, its not about the engine, it's how you use it. Just look at Titanfall 1 & 2-- both run off of Source Engine and they pushed the engine to its limits
