It's crazy that I prefer SAMURAI over Refused. SAMURAI is one of my favorite band and it doesn't even really exist. Great cover if not the best ! (Refused is great, but I think maybe the lore add more to it with SAMURAI idk)

Nice job man, it's rare to see the solo on this one. I know you didn't ask, but one tip is on the build up before the chorus, you should release the palm mute gradually and have it full released for bar 73 I love this song and love to play it as well !!

Key of G major? I’m farely certain it’s in E minor. The chorus is sort of in G major but you can think of the whole song in E minor.

The verse of this song is clearly centered around E minor and is always resolved, so to speak, on an E note. That being said, the chorus has a major tone to it, at least to my ear. That’s why I thought the key is a bit ambiguous in this case. The reason I wrote G major is because for every major scale there is also a minor scale that has exactly the same notes, called “relative minor”. If you take a look at all the notes in G major and all the notes in E minor, they will be the same with the only sharp note being F#. The same goes for the chords. Chords in the key of G major are the same as chords in the key of E minor. Essentially natural E minor is derived from a G major scale and is a 6th mode of a G major scale. That being said, most of this song is centered around E making E sounds like home so to speak. Therefore, I don’t disagree with you. It just sounds a bit ambiguous to me during the chorus and in the later section of the song leading up to the solo.

My guess is that you are referring to how the C and A chords are played during the main riff. He is just playing it up the neck, the notes are exactly the same, same octave, same C5 and A5 chord. No reason to hate. 🤣

​@@Marty_That_Dude I was picking this song up by ear so it's not guarantee that it's 100% correct. That being said, I disagree with the TAB you posted above. The F on the 6th string (3rd fret) as well the pull off from F to D on the 4th string (3rd fret to open 4th) just sounds like it clashes with the rest of the song. Try and slow the original song down and play your version of the riff over it and you'll hear it. When it comes to the rhythm mistakes, this is a cover not the original.
