No... it wouldn’t. I’m currently playing it with over 200+ hours on a character. The game doesn’t live up to what was promised. Not even close and even the final product is extremely flawed. With terrible RPG mechanics and a god awful AI system. For all the praise, I can confirm that there are still numerous bugs (playing Xbox Series X btw) One extremely glaring one is the audio for Televisions cutting out for news broadcasts and the occasional “driverless” cars that just spawn on highways and roads. Even in its current state. Many people would still be upset with it.

@@zwein1817 I got it when it came out and it didn't let me go past the tutorial I restarted the game multiple times and even skipped the tutorial but ran into glitches the stopped me from proceeding. The glitches was what was wrong with it. That's why they gave refunds and people hated it. Besides the bugs everything about the game is fun and good.

@@T0e-Man PC's release only had visual bugs which broke immersion, and I remember a specific side quest got softlocked at some point but other than that it was a completable game on launch. I'm convinced that the reason it was released in such a broken state was so the devs could make the bugs a red herring to mask the actual issues of the game, which aren't mechanical issues as much as they are just design ones. Now that you can play the game pretty much completely bug free, even you can see how much of a shallow game is to what was promised and planned. You can see all the hiccups and disjointed creative decisions, you can see how the game is more of movie-game than it is an rpg. Even if it's a mess of a game, it's not a bad game, yet it's not anything special either. This was apparent before the bugs were even addressed, but it seems that it worked well in dissuading people from the core issues of the game. The bugs were never the real issue

If we dont consider bugs and some other minor gameplay issues of the game, it was much better than any Ubisoft or EA game I played in years. One of the best open world games released in last few years. Expectations were higher, but the game is still very far from being bad. I want to forget most Ubisoft games(released recently) I played though. They seem lifeless.

@@Baghirov. you are extremely wrong, ubisoft's R6S is an excellent game and EA made apex legends which made other BR games copy its elements, titanfall 1 and 2 with its story and awesome multiplayer made COD copy its wall-climbing and sliding mechanics, its not the best open world game as red dead redemption 2 was literally started development around this trailer and came out before it. Horizon aero dawn being another example of a game that actually 'was' an RPG, unlike this POS that had such awful implementation of RPG that they removed it from there posts, no branching story at all, this game is awful and there's no saving it. Don't just copy what the stupid CDPR fanbous murmur around on forums and use your own 2 brain cells next time.
