Or it'll get loads of undeserved praise, while being too large for its own good, poorly paced, awfully glitchy despite hoards of patches, a few times total where choice actually makes a difference at all, use recolored enemies as unique bosses, have a repetitive soundtrack, have convoluted and floaty gameplay and movement, be graphically downgraded, have an anemic upgrade system, have no reason to actually be open world, and on and on and on. Tried so many times to get into that game. Will never understand the hype. Must be their good developer practices, sans the downgrading bullshit, with it being a decent price and having well priced and meaty expansions. That's great but, man what a boring game.

I'd be surprised if we didn't. They are famous for their easter eggs and nods to other properties so it would make sense if you ran into her at some point. So in Cyberpunk, cyborgs who suffer from cyberpsychosis can be rehabilitated. In fact, their augments are disabled and their personalities are completely reconstructed. This, sometimes, means they get recruited by C-SWAT/MAXTAC/"Psycho Squad" units, because they have all these augments already and also a new personality. Also a convenient role for the protagonist of an RPG.

The trailer was made by a third party production company. They showed the trailer to see how people would react, because they were not sure when they announced it months earlier. That's why the trailer came out as early as it did. Btw, the production company who made the trailer is working on a new Witcher movie. I think they also made "The Night to Remember" trailer for the Witcher 3. But, don't quote me on this.

AlluZu I'm doing as many as I can, aside from some of the ones I know are just quick stupid quests that have no real reward, like rescuing that merchant from the alley in Novigrad for absolutely no reason ha. I realized in this playthrough that I definitely skipped way more than I should have in the first one. I didn't even find Letho to send him back to Kaer Morhen until this save, I was pretty surprised. ***** Skyrim is definitely nowhere near as much fun as Witcher. At the time, I had a ton of fun with that game, but now I couldn't go back to it. It really was filled with a lot of really long boring stretches of time where nothing of note happened.

Just for the record, CDPR didn't exactly said that Cyberpunk 2077 will release "between 2017 and 2021". What they actually said, in a meeting with investors, is that they are planning to reach a certain number of goals between 2017 and 2021. Releasing Cyberpunk was listed just as the first of these goals. For context, in that same list of goals was also mentioned the development and release of another big unannounced RPG. Other bullet points in that list included financial objectives and other generic corporate stuff, instead.

Very good info. I listened to the story info very skeptically, but still ended up liking it. I'm hoping we will have a better "morality system" than in Bioshock. And I kind ahope they take some reference from "This War of Mine". But since these are the makers of The Witcher, my main concern is pacing. As longa s they learn from their biggest mistake and avoid over leveling, it should be fine.

It can be done really well, and it's CD project red so they should do a good job. Im thinking that the game wont just be restricted to Night City. I think there will be some outskirts or suburbs. Which would probably be something CDPR would have to imagine themselves if there isn't any lore describing the surrounding outside of the city. PLus being restricted to just the city and city atmosphere wouldn't be taking advantage of the opportunity to create some major environmental contrast.

In house devs were in the 240s but they had more then 1k people working on TW3 in total. They did texture work, sounds and art and many other things, so it was not just the in house devs that made the game... To be fair, it was 1.7k people who made TW3, not 370 you said. In fact one of the moders from Skyrim armor mods did armor textures in TW3 but i forgot who, it was on nexus news long time ago, he does freelance work.

Wow, that Cyber-Psychosis idea sound lot like "Psycho-Pass"! It is a nice anime but this sound interesting since CD Project has interesting story aspect to their games. The Witcher 3 is the best game I have ever played considering the magnificent tale of "Geralt of Rivia" and very engaging gameplay as well. There is only one other game struck me, when I try to compare this the witcher 3, which is "The Last of Us", takes the second place in my short list.

You'll disappointed but story of CP trailer won't have much to do with story of actual game. Story for CP trailer was written by Tomasz Bagiński, who isn't part of CD Projekt RED - the guy is director at Platige Image, who developed and produced CP trailer and almost all The Witcher ones. The same was confirmed by CDP - they said that trailer's characters probably won't be part of main quest line

My prediction is 2020 for release date :P Not just as a tribute to cyberpunk 2020, but because if its true that its "far, far bigger and more ambitious one very single front" than witcher 3 -- they are going to require more development time, even if they do have a few more employees.

If this game does have character creation I'm probably going to play as a cyborg(Robot/Human Hybrid). Also since the game's plot seems to be more in line with Psycho-Pass then if it has the mature story content and extremely graphic violence that Psycho-Pass is known for then I'm predicting an M rating for this game.

yep, Mike Pondsmith (the guy who made the Cyberpunk pen and paper RPGs) is working closely with CDPR on this game
