I kinda stopped watching anime for a while now but having played the game I decided give this anime a try and godamm it did not disappoint, it slaps harder than Will Smith at Oscars, outmatched all my expectations. It has such a crescendo in narrative, plot, character development and flare, the visuals and the end the portrayal of the dystopian life of the Night City where there are no happy ending even if you're special or just "built different".
