I just finished edgerunners last night and oh was it a rollercoaster i would really wanna see how a season 2 would play out but i heard that its confirmed season 2 will sadly not happen nonetheless still a 10/10 would definitely recomend watching (btw i also cried watching the last episode)

I think that edgerunners leads in to the game, but I’m not too sure. If there was a season 2 I’d be curious to see how it’d play out

@@bazdaddy420 The anime is based a year before the game, Def go play the game. I wouldn't of given it the time of the day without the anime, and now im loving it. If they did another season i'd imagine it'd focus on different characters at a different time. Such as Adam Smasher, Silverhand or Blackhand.

It just is confirmed that the story of the characters from season 1 are over and we will not get a second season with them. A second season who stands alone with new characters are not out of the picture if i remember correctly, although it is not in the works or planned at the moment

In my oppinion, the fact that it DID have an ending, and a good one at that, is a big plus. Far too often these days you see an interesting anime, with lovable characters in an intriguing setting with expanding plot as it goes. Before it hits the climax in like ep 12, and then it's just goes silent. And even if the authors planned eventual S2, the hype just dies down, everyone forgets about the setting, the plot, the characters and it's just forever stuck in this dicktease of a season 1......
