I like how we judge if a comedy anime is good or not by if it actually makes you laugh. Maybe its just because the comedy isnt intended for western audiences but man the amount of "comedy" anime which just devolves into shouting things = funny

You do make a really good point that I should’ve brought up in the video. Anime (in general) is targeted towards Japanese people, so it will cater to their tastes more, but even so I feel like the comedy in anime can be very repetitive like you said

I have watched just 3 of those "Spirited Away" (I think..was awhile ago) "Bocchi The Rock", and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid"..I adore both "Bocchi The Rock", and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and have recently visited a number of the real life locations used for both shows. Also visited locations for "Super CUB" and "Non Non Biyori"....I tend to steer clear of violent, gore, type anime..Don't need it..I want to chill relax and have a chuckle.

Tomoko (Watamote) and "Darkness" (Dustiness Ford Lalatina) (Konosuba) are the only two (female) anime characters with EXTREME social anxiety disorder, along with also both having very dirty minds, which doesn't help with their socializing, laughs. While Tomoko isn't a masochist (or is she, laughs), whereas Darkness is, and thus her biggest turn on is something social (spotlight/center-of-attention, embarrassment, praise, etc etc etc), and Tomoko actually vomits from her social anxiety (causing her body to be under-developed), but otherwise, they're nearly the same
