I can imagine your Megacorp becoming like Buy N Large, world encompassing, over consumption and ultimately becoming like a fallen empire, isolationist and completely in control of your people. Great Video.

I like how when you made your first attack, losing like half your military, you were calm and composed, but then later at 4:40:00 went on a whole tangent about losing one Titan also, on this note, I'd like to say, I absolutely love the cybernetic ship appearance, but the Titan looks really bad, it really fails to give that sense of grandeur and size that the other ship sets do, and it's just way too vertical, at least in my opinion

I did my own cyberpunk humanity playthrough, and I find it amazing how both similar and different yours is to mine. We both: Went with Megacorp with the Augmentation Bazaar civic Had galaxies with dominantly Materialist ethos Used brown and light green/light yellow as the colors for our emblems Used a corporate styled logo Used the Fanatic Materialist ethic We spawned in the same region of the galaxy. (My Sol system would probably be like 2-4 hyperlane jumps from where yours spawned. Not far at all.) We differ in: Synthetic life is given full rights in my playthrough I have no intention of vassalizing anyone I used a secondary Authoritarian ethic as opposed to a Xenophobe ethic. (Corporate prefers to keep the wagies in line, and is willing to break a few kneecaps to keep their assets protected, and xenos/synthetics are just opportunities for profit) I used baseline humans instead of re-working the traits for optimization My leader is a scientist who got the Chronofuge trait, so instead of fighting the Synthetic Queen, I'm apparently in the process of making one. My current CEO is a cybernetic woman with ambitions that stretch into all of time. Overall, very interesting. Your style of playing Stellaris is very similar to mine. Taking an empire idea and playing it out with a specific theme and goals in mind. I noticed you did a Cult of the Whisperers run, and I recently did a Cult of the Composer run, but I'm likely to do a Whisperers Patron run in the future, and that one will be a good video to play in the background while I run mine. Solid content.
@SaintofSol5 ай бұрын
Thanks for tuning in and sharing, the fact that our runs were so similar and you even did a cult of a shroud creature like I did is very cool. Great minds think alike!
@jaydenw98035 ай бұрын
@@SaintofSol I'm glad you found what I shared interesting! I won't tie you up too much, but if you're curious about how the Cult of the Composer run played out, I'll give a brief overview. In short, the cult's views are that all species are the same. Flesh is flesh, it doesn't matter what form it takes. They are all just meat bound together by tiny, intricate strands. With Catalytic Processing, flesh can even be made to resemble metal, and thus even technology and synthetic life are also just meat and strands. The cult's current ambitions are to turn every habitable planet in the galaxy into Gaia worlds, and to assimilate all living beings into their society. Wars of ideology mostly, but against the entire galactic community. If you ever decide to do a Cult of the Composer run yourself, maybe this can give you some ideas. Regardless, I wish you luck in your Stellaris exploits.
@SaintofSol5 ай бұрын
I may do a cult of the composer run actually, it sounds like a fun thing to do, I’ve added it to my list of video ideas, and I’ll credit you if I do. But I have a feeling my cult of the composer will be a lot less… benevolent ;)

@rickrude9786 ай бұрын
Two things. In your to be created "best of" video please include "and I am completely decisive." And add your battleship montage of going back and forth for like (what felt like) forever. This, no that, no this, no that, no this, perhaps that, wait, let me check, ok that. No this. (me) Press fast forward ... press fast forward again (dude). And second, you are running around the galaxy enslaving innocent people. Too bad you won the game!
@SaintofSol6 ай бұрын
I'll be sure to keep that in mind for the montage lol, also we at Mechanical Multinational don't prefer the term enslaved, while employment contracts provided to foreign nationals may be less lucrative and relocation may be mandatory, they are still free to not work (and starve).
