I'm thinking at lower speeds, there's a burnishing effect probably taking place, causing a smother finish

Hi Teague - perhaps; I would need to look closer. That said, the chips coming from the 1 flute end mill were excellent, so I think the feeds and speeds were good (or close enough). Can't say the same for the 2 flute end mills. Thanks for watching!

I do a lot of inlay epoxy on wood, and I have never taught of doing inlay on top of epoxy Thank you for these infos. It would be great to have some test with engraving bits too. I'm inspired...
