Yeah, unfortunately they look at cost of implementing and sometimes say “maybe later” … sometimes it’s them weighing adding features vs making something more secure, then they pick adding features to make consumers “happy”… the pricetag comes when there’s a breach 🤦♀️. “Normalcy bias” works in favor of malicious actors. One time I got a virus on my phone by clicking on a link in my municipality’s official website-a website that “should” be secured for obvious public safety & security reasons… but clearly the municipality leadership wasn’t taking cybersecurity seriously… I thanked God that I knew how to get rid of the virus on my own… not sure what normal people do lol 😂 … I guess they go to Geek Squad or something 😅
