We test out the Cybertent to work out our new camping process in the Cybertruck, and see how well it suits our family of 4.

Having those 110v outlets, seems really nice in a camping setup like this :) Also, the tent looks a lot better in this video, compared to the picture they showed in another video :)

Wow ! that's a great video. Is it enough room for 4 family??

Maybe I am just getting old and grumpy, but 4 people in that, no thank you haha
@skylerityАй бұрын
@@bjlfbs8506 haha yeah 4 is definitely pushing it. If the girls weren’t small it wouldn’t work. When they’re older we’ll probably put at least one in the backseat with the seats up in camp mode. There’s enough space there for sleeping comfortably.

At what point were you able to order the tent? I have a Cyberbeast on order awaiting the VIN and I see nowhere to order the tent in the Tesla Shop. Will it just show up as available once the Cybertruck is active inside my app?
@skylerityАй бұрын
@@abblepc you can only order cybertruck products after taking delivery, and signing in to verify ownership before ordering, but here’s the store link. shop.tesla.com/product/cybertruck-cybertent?sku=1948406-00-A

What’s the little table you have your cooking on? What’s the electric griddle your using?
@skylerityАй бұрын
@@Hcwolohon here’s the cooking table: a.co/d/gSXJ3PP The grill I don’t recommend. It actually doesn’t drip the grease out properly and it runs to the underside of the griddle burning onto the electric heating coils… it’s defective basically, poor design. I’m returning it and going with a basic induction cook top. It’s Hamilton Beach griddle if you still want to know though. I’m switching to a Hamilton Beach induction cook top for a single pan.

How far did you roughly travel to get to your destination? Just curious about the distances that can be driven and still achieve that 54% battery remaining figure. Cheers.
@skylerityАй бұрын
@@mipmapp5207 about 60 total miles, 45-50 mins driving each way, plus some usage of sentry mode, onboard electric outlets, AC running and overheat protection activating periodically at 95 degrees etc. about 20-25% battery used round trip.

@@skylerity appreciate the reply. Thank you. The truck isn’t out in my country yet but am curious about its range and camping chops.
@skylerityАй бұрын
@@mipmapp5207I edited some details to more accurately represent the driving amount. I understated it a bit before. Thanks for watching and I hope you can get your Cybertruck soon. They are incredible vehicles.

@@skylerity I appreciate the clarity. Our family can sometimes drive around 200 miles in a day carrying quite a bit, and the charging network here isn’t as comprehensive as the US so it’s good to have good info. Tesla did bring a truck over here to gauge local interest so time will tell on whether we’ll see it on the roads

@@mipmapp5207 cool! Which country? One thing for camping that I’m planning on utilizing that is widely available in the US is RV camp sites with 50 amp electric hookup. So even in remote locations with far away Superchargers we could make it. I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable going more than ~120 miles away from a Supercharger just in case I showed up and the RV charging is not available for some reason. At least I’d feel comfortable knowing I had enough range left to comfortably turn around and go back to a charger. Also worth noting I’m generally very conservative with range. I’d don’t like to push it by choice haha.
