QOTD: Reg H has been my favourite format from Scarlet Violet. So many different things work right now but the meta is also stable enough that we know what we have to prepare for. Having room to inovate in a stable format is really fun

In game 6 you talk about doubling up on Carbink. I'm a bit confused on what you meant by that. Your dragonite's only attacking moves were Scale Shot and Extremespeed. With Psychic Terrain up, Extremespeed will fail, and Carbink is a Fairy/Rock Type, so Scale Shot would fail into it as well. From my pov, it seemed like there was no way to stop Carbink from setting up Trick Room with your lead of Dragonite+Kingambit and their lead of Carbink+Psychic Surge Indeedee.

QOTD: Its fun, I like there is a lot of viable options, but as Markus and you said in VGC Reflections, Bo1 is very difficult, there are like 10 variants of Sneasler, and I feel in this regulation there are a lot of gimmicks you can not expect.

I love reg h, i am able to use tons of different mons i never got to use, and they battles became more fun, all in all this reg tested me a bit in my team building and play, as a VGC noob this gen, this reg was the most challenging for me to get the hang of,but after figuring it out,its been loads of fun

Covert Cloak Peli is tech? I've been running that set exclusively since day 1 of Reg H XD. Max speed timid with 196 HP, 60 in Def or SpDef, and Ground Tera.

one team building concept I underappreciated from playing against this on ladder is the pairing of pokemon that can't protect (peli) with a very strong damage threat that can't be ohko'd. It's so simple but REALLY forces opponents to have a very tight lead (especially because Peli also has wideguard). Ahhh so cool Im always learning in this game!

I just wanted to say that dusclops doesn't get bulldoze in gen 9, I tried a weird strat in sw/sh with bulldoze + weakness policy lash out incin in trick room and I wanted to do that again but dusclops doesn't get bulldoze. :(

QOTD: Im not the biggest fan of this reg. And its not because of Sneasler. I did really well as a Zamazenta player in reg g. I reached top 150 on the csrt ladder and top 20 on the b01 ladder. It just felt like everything was clicking. This reg i havent been able to find anything i really like and i feel so lost. Im glad others enjoy it, but i personally want to go back to reg g!

I definitely agree in that I haven’t felt anything as consistent as my Caly S or Koraidon teams, but I still appreciate the flow of these sets in a lower power scale. Plan on running Caly S & Zama in the double restricted format.

They don't type put replies that make them sounds like pompous jackasses. So, while I'm extremely glad you are atleast skilled in a video game, I really hope that these gaming skill can translate to the real world and you can foster your social skills. Its going to be a long road and you will have many people who will take be repulsed by you along the way, but I gotta imagine by now you're used to that. Good luck!

Dragonite has always been my favorite dragon, but UNFORTUNATELY he wasn't min maxed like other mons, so he's been left by the wayside a lot. I thought he would only shine so much this gen because of Normal tera e-speed, but now he has increasing number of great sets and I'm so happy.
