@platinum_ap6836 the main one I had was a fake trick room psyspam thay can do trick room if needed. It's been really consistent. But I use all kinds of random teams I make or copy ones I see. This has felt like the most diverse format yet if you are not playing at to high of a level.

The Basc + Kingambit lead is very strong against other weather teams because usually Kingambit is slower than lots of other leads so if you both switch in your weather setters, you end up winning the weather war. It's not a sure win (p2 inci from the marco sun team can be difficult, as -1 Basc doesn't pick KOs in rain anymore) but it gives you a big advantage. Against Zard+Jumpluff you can switch KG for Peli, Tera Grass Flip Turn > Zard to ignore Rage and send Buzz to Follow Me their Sleep Powders. The MU is tough as a lot can be decided by sleep powder/heat wave/overheat/hurricane in sun connecting or not 🫠 I used the same team at LAIC, it's so fun! Finished 41st :)

Rillaboom really has been in a great spot since the beginning of this regulation, yet it seems to keep getting better, it is really such a great pokemon

Rillaboom Electabuzz looks and feels immensely strong right now and I expect it to continue being strong through the end of reg H. It’s honestly really nice to see you post videos of these really strong meta teams, as getting to witness an incredible player like yourself pilot is an amazing gift for many of us in the community. Keep up the good work Aaron! QOTD: Somewhat? I’m excited to go back to using the turtle again, but I want to give Zamazenta an honest shot this series too. I might attend Atlanta which I believe is in the last month of reg G 2 so I need to give it some thought.

i like the current format. Never before (well, not literally, but very few) have I seen electabuzz and magmar used so much as follow me users, and so many different mons just in general. I like to see more variety and tactics, and that in my opinion is only possible when the most OP mons are not legal.

Great video as always! QOTD: I’m going to miss Reg H, I don’t have many options available for legendaries because I’m a newer Pokemon player, so I feel like my team comp building options feel much more limited than in Reg H where strong Pokemon are more accessible to players who don’t own Sword and Shield and haven’t traded for version exclusive legendaries (I have Violet and don’t have Koraidon, Raging Bolt, or Gouging Fire).

I think PopBomb Maus is still the best set up for Arch since Maus just has so much utility, but on its own PopBomb is a delete button for half the format. QotD: Not excited for the return of Reg G, Reg H has been way too much fun. I was really skeptical at first but have come to thoroughly appreciate this format. Overall I'll be more excited when we get a 2 restricted mon format.

I'm really excited to go back to reg g! After watching worlds I wanted to play competitive so I played all of the dlcs for the legendaries. I never got to use them though lol

For the QOTD, I'm pretty neutral about going back to Reg G. There's a lot of stuff in Reg H I still wanted to try because this format develops so fast. But Reg G was actually really enjoyable for me and there's a few teams I wanted to try but didn't have time with all the tournament prep I was doing at the time

This looks way better than the loaded dice breloom set I tried lol, breloom gets technician boost but not grassy terrain boost, plus it's way less tanky and has a 4x weakness. Close combat is great to have but without tailwind up the breloom struggles a lot

I’ll be REALLY sad to see Reg H go. I think it was one of the most fun regulations we’ve had in a while and a lot of underutilized pokemon got to shine. Hopefully with reg G coming back, we’ll get to see some more creative team building instead of going back to the exact same meta as before. Either way, excited to see you try out some cool teams next reg as well!

QotD: I dunno, maybe like a 5/10. I peaked in top 200 on Showdown with a Rayquaza team that I REALLY liked and it'll be fun to run it back and try to push even higher, but it was a very clearly defined meta and I could see it getting stale fast. Reg H has been a blast with all the variety and so many different archetypes having success, I'll be pretty sad to see it go

QOTD: I'm a new player so I'd say I'm excited to try legendaries for the first time but I'm sad to see Pokemon with a lower power level go back to the PC. I hope TPCi incorporate non-legendary regulations every year because there's so much space for creativity there!

game 7. GG Cybertron. feels like I get hit with simple beam whenever we battle lol. I had steel Tera whims lol. I think if I did hit the steel Tera on the double up into whims I could’ve possibly won. Also I didn’t bring typhlo because there’s just so much counter play to it on that team. Typh only would’ve been good in psychic terrain & sun which is just a pain to manage when you have rain, grass terrain, & priority

I've been watching for a bit now but only picked up playing vgc of my own with reg H. the lower overall power level seemed more interesting and approachable to me. I don't know if i'm ready to deal with miraidon and calyrex, not to mention raging bolt and urshifu

I'm super sad to see regulation H go away. It brought so many new mons and starts into online battles. Now with the legends and paradox coming back it's going to go back to the same 15-20 ish mins on every single team ranked matches or not. I'm just getting back into playing pokemon and want to try online battles again but I know I'll have no chance of winning with UU and NU mons because of how drastically more powerful the currently banned mons are

To this day, I don't get the Basculegion pick over something like Barraskewda. The only advantages I see for it is it is decently fast in Trick Room and it's marginally better defenses give it a small chance to survive things Barraskewda can't. I just don't see those two things outweighing the speed and move pool advtanages that Barraskewda has. It has a ton of Tera options because of that deeper move pool as well. Slap a Scarf on it, with Propeller Tail and it's still fast, plus it doesn't matter if your opponent wants to Follow Me or Rage Powder and since *_that_* is such an underutilized ability, it catches so many people off guard. "Why yes, my gish is using Tera-Ground, Life Orb Boosted, Drill Run. No, it doesn't care why your mushroom is so angry and stoo crying Wishcash; someone will love you one day."

I tried using Barraskewda a bunch and while the extra Atk is amazing, Wave Crash / Last Respects are simply too good to pass on, as there are OHKOs that Basculegion can get that Barraskewda can't. And you're right that with their base Speed you really don't need Swift Swim and Propeller Tail is better. Another advantage of Basc is that ghost is a great defensive type right now resisting both Sneasler STABs and the immunity to Fake Out allows it to play agressive from the start.

Reg G is cool and all but Reg H was just SO innovative. Sure it normalized over time but even in half a year of Reg H, we would STILL get new stuff all the time Reg G is cool and powerful but just doesn't have the same pizazz

QOTD: Nah I'm not looking forward to the return of Reg G at all. Reg H has been my favorite SC/VI rule set by miles. I'm still having fun with it and seeing new teams. Reg G was fun for a month then became really stale. I don't wanna go back to horse simulator 2024.

As purely a viewer I find it a bit sad that the circuit will go back to Reg G soon. Reg H looks so much more fun and is more fun to watch then Reg G cause more Mons are viable. I would honestly like to see Reg H without starters so we can see more non starter Mons shine. I feel like that would be fun to watch and probably also play. Reg G just seemed to much more centralized and less creative. Again, Im only a spectator tho.
