The lower position, I think, is good because now you can also mount your phone horizontally above the screen (landscape mode) and not have it block any of your view.

Yes! This is cool, agreed screen needs to be a bit higher but love the swiveling capabilities!! 💥

Excellent suggestion on the "up" option ! I have an automated swivel screen in my 23 Model X, made by Tesla, and its INCREDIBLE 💪

Looks great. I'd probably buy it ASAP if it went UP as you suggested. I'll have to think about it in the current configuration. My biggest concern would be lowering the rear view camera feed even more. Otherwise this looks amazing and solves a real problem.

What does it look like from the passenger seat? Worried person sitting there could hit it or it sticks out more in their side?

If you have it fully tilted to the driver it can be a bit pointy for the passenger for sure, when I have someone in the truck I often will tilt it a bit to the center

i cant live without tilt screen on my Y. this should be by default... totally agree lowering of the position is a bummer, hit my leg all the time. but compared to the benefit it brings, i am okay... thanks for sharing!

Yea that lowered position is a no go. Needs to be OEM height with the swivel.

I hope the cable stays connected. The original had a secure clip. That zip tie would have helped keep the cable connected. Maybe a little electrical tape would do.

That was my idea to get it to be up high, however then the rear cover would not fit so that is the issue

One correction, the lack of a tilt screen is the SECOND worse thing on a stock Cybertruck. The worthless "rearview" mirror has dibs on the top spot. 😄

@@reidtomasko3857 Hopefully it is true rear view mirror camera with an appropriate 40-50 degree FOV, so one can actually distinguish what vehicles behind you are doing. BTW, it doesn't need its own recording capability or a forward-looking camera either. I'll look forward to your review.
