I thought that way too, then I realized, that unlike paint, it should be much easier to remove the film than paint, and so a second owner might want to change the color back to stainless steel or they may want to have it wrapped in blue or red etc., and so I kinda like that idea of doing a wrap.

Gloss looks really nice, surprisingly. I think it helps soften the hard edges a bit

They'll still rip a human to shreds... I don't expect CT to become available in most EU countries because of this, unless they release a model with more rounded corners and safety for pedestrians. Those corners are rock hard and sharp at any speed. And biological organism are stupidly fragile.

The gloss reflects so well that at the right angle, the rear all but disappears into the reflection of the building behind it. Almost like a cloaking device.

OEM aero covers look better. They were specifically designed to keep the edginess of the truck. Round wheels/hub caps ruin the Cybertrucks aesthetic.

When I first saw the announcement for CyberTruck i thought wraps were going to be awesome. I had no idea how awesome. I think by not having a few paint options at purchase people still want differentiation, but instead of picking one of the few offered by the OEM, they hit the wrap market in search of differentiation, and end up with more options and so we'll have a greater variety.
