These timestamps are optimized so that when you click on any timestamp, you start hearing the sound directly and can quickly compare the sounds. But it is annoying that when you click any timestamps youtube scroll your screen to top. Here is how to fix it: Since Simon pinned my comment and it will now appear right below the video, you can use this trick to navigate between timestamps with peace: First, set your screen's zoom level to around 75%-90% (adjust based on your screen resolution). If you're watching in theater mode, exit theater mode. Then, reduce the width of your browser window until the comment section is almost no longer visible but not. Keep the height of the window as tall as possible. Pinned comment and video should be visible without scrolling if not keep zooming out till they are. This way, when you click any timestamp in the pinned comment, your screen won't scroll up, allowing you to quickly listen to different sounds without interruption. here is a example screenshot if you didn't understand what i am talking about: imgur.com/a/2dEdcM1

Watching a video that has no cuts or background music cleanses my soul, thank you Simbone

I got the cycle8 from china gb a month ago, and I had to redo a few bits like cutting a new halfplate alu and full plate carbon fiber, removing the plate-positioned screws and removing the mounting near the spacebar. lemme tell you this, it will smack any tkl under 300 on the face. But still that is so much work to do.

Disclaimer: $155 is the I don’t pay taxes and shipping is not something I deal with. For the rest of us, like me in Europe have to pay €268 that’s $292 at the time of writing. This includes brass internals and shipping and before you start about the brass go see Simon’s build vid that should explain why more brass = good. So a bit higher then $155 that’s €142 btw

I’m an Aussie and I got mine for 300 aud (185 euro), with the polished weight, ss internal weight cover and the extra ss weights.
@AquaPeet4 ай бұрын
Yes I also noticed that it is a lot more expensive for us that are Europeeing, unfortunately.

@@fraserhobby3569 ouch oh well I suppose it’s way better then what we used to pay for a entry board I just checked the last board I payed for was the ikki68 €200 that was a plastic molded keyboard btw and i got 3 of them over the years nuts haha

Taxes and shipping vary so it makes sense not to include them. Standard lol
@Maxime-ho9iv4 ай бұрын
@@versaknightNo, it doesn’t work out. The difference between the US price and the EU price can’t be explained solely by taxes and shipping. Shipping is irrelevant because 1) the board is made in China so you have to ship it to US or to Europe anyway 2) the prices we’re talking about is excluding domestic shipping in both cases. As for taxes, I’m sorry but no, the board here in Europe costs $80 more.

Around 350 AUD once brass weights and brass cover are added in unfortunately

What alternatives are there in Aus for a tkl like this?
@DvineDragoon4 ай бұрын
@zelcan6738 neo80 i guess. Around 240 aud
@fraserhobby35694 ай бұрын
@@DvineDragoonNeo80 is 240 in base config, they can get to 350 with everything. Cycle8 starts at 250 so price is very similar.
@DvineDragoon4 ай бұрын
@@fraserhobby3569 true but according to blacksimon he recommends getting the brass internal cover and brass weights for cycle8 in order to make it sound good whereas for neo80 it should sound better with the more barebones config. point taken though!

Hate to say it, but I think that the Neo80 already beat this to the punch, with a cheaper price (with weights), the same ball-catch system (but with a magnetic connector instead of ribbon cables), and some pretty solid sound

Well, no, I don’t buy it. That’s very unfortunate, I was 100% going to buy this but I won’t. This isn’t a $155 board, it’s a $205 board since we’ve now established brass is mandatory. $215 with hotswap, and who doesn’t want hotswap in 2024. $225 with TKD, which if you’re going to get a TKD board is only fair for you to get a TKD coating. Now suddenly it’s not the same price at all. Why all those options? It doesn’t make any sense. You know what’s best, give me brass and PC, make it one board, and optimize the price for this one board. It would have been much much better for this Cycle 8 to be a $190 for everyone, with the brass and all, than a $155 for the ones who didn’t look into it and $205/$215 for others. Also you have to work better with your distributors because here in Europe it’s a €270 board. And no please don’t tell me taxes or shipping, I know the thing it’s not my first time, and it doesn’t add up, €270 is $290 and you don’t pay $80 in taxes.. Something is seriously wrong here.
