Cycle from Seoul to Chuncheon
Over the summer we biked from Seoul to Chuncheon (춘천), which is around 115KM. It is a gorgeous ride. One of my favorites in Korea. There are paved bike lanes all the way, so it is a very safe and comfortable ride.

Great video! I especially love the shots from the drone. I attempted a Seoul-Chuncheon route last summer but the heat and humidity defeated me so I only made it as far as Gapyeong. I will try the route to Chuncheon again this spring though.

Ya, it is a great ride. If you have the time, try to fit it in. I rode from Seoul to Busan in October as well. It is a great month to do it. Beautiful colours. Have a great ride.

I was wondering if there are any reasonable options for bike rentals in Korea if I was interested in taking a bit of a trip? Thanks!

Thanks :) There are rentals along the Han river (main river running through Seoul) but they aren't in great shape. I believe that some of the bike shops in the city also rent bikes. Try checking on Craigslist to see if someone is selling their bike. People come and go all the time here, so there are lots of deals on websites like Craigslist.

Thanks... ya I need to narrate more, will work on that in future vids. I don't mind the wide angle on the drone, but I don't like the eye fish on the drone. Getting the Mavic soon, hopefully it will look a little better.

yes. You can do it a lot faster if you're not going to record your ride. From the middle of Seoul to Chuncheon is around 115KM. Only a few small hills. Have a great ride.

hi! I'm going to attempt the bike ride from Seoul to Chuncheon this weekend! How early do you recommend leaving from seoul? and was there any problem putting the bikes on the subway?

Earlier the better. Less people on the path and you won’t be worried about getting back to Seoul. It is around 115km one way. No problems bring your back on the subway on the weekend. You have to be in either the first or last subway car. Have a great ride

You can do it! Just follow the blue line on the path. There are a couple forks in the path. Just use Naver maps or Kakotalk maps if you think you're heading the wrong way. It is a beautiful ride.

@@GoGarrTV Thanks! I did it a few weeks ago, but the other way round (Chuncheon to Seoul). Amazing, especially closer to Chuncheon. I only had trouble when getting closer to Seoul, but a friendly cyclist led me to a shortcut through Guri. Happy riding!
