Nice save on the pot hole!!! I think you caught some air! I have more than one road glide windshield also. Looking for an idea to hang them up so they don't get scratched. Have you seen anything like that? probably just make something like folks do for the docking accessories, tour packs etc. Klock werks have awesome windshields. They should be safe and on display when not on the bike. :)

Both of those humps have been there for many years!! I grew up in that part of Newark and lived in that area most of my life. Tax dollars are definitely not going into the infrastructure in Newark. Definitely dangerous if you're on a bike and not familiar with that stretch of road!! More of a service road between Belleville and North Newark if you can call it that.

The roads are so F’ed up in the Newark area. Sucks riding your bike on those roads. That’s my old stomping grounds. Now we’re in Warren County. I leave my driveway and I am already in farmland with beautiful roads to ride.

I was born and raised in NJ and left years ago when the job I was at transferred my position to DC. I'm watching you guys riding those crappy roads and thinking I sure am glad I'm not in NJ anymore. I go back to visit family during the year, but I'll never go back there to live. Currently, I live outside of DC in Northern Virginia where the traffic SUCKS but at least they do a better job with the roads here.

I just finished installing Traxxion Dynamics upgraded suspension tonight and I plan to be doing a lot more touring with the old Victory. I'm replacing the sporty 9" flat windshield with an 11" flip. I use Madstad brackets which are adjustable in height and angle by about 3" so I should be able to get the air flow right for conditions. The 9" did okay but there's always heavy wind noise, which gets annoying on longer trips.

Shorter windshields look better than the taller ones and if you're planning to ride with a full face helmet on a lot but the taller ones are the way to go for highway miles and giving you the option for wearing a open face helmet just my opinion!

I hit a hole on interstate 24 nw of nashville that you could have lost a vw in. Had i not been doing 85mph i would have wrecked. Luckily i went over most of it, but i was nearly launched off the bike. My buddy hit it as well and his entire road king was a foot off the ground. Meanwhile, we are shipping billions across the globe!
