@@cyclemaintenanceacademy rim brakes on the roadie and hydraulics on the mtb so no need for me but was interesting to watch regardless

It is on the front, but there is a reason why none of these videos show doing the back when you have top tube (or any external) cable guides, I guess you would just need to zip tie your own cable guides all the way to the back of the bike, because hydraulic lines certainly aren't going to thread through cable guides, especially if they are the kind that act as cable stops for exposed wires (which was always a stupid idea anyway).
